Very good hostel. Provides the basics, clean shower, toilet facilities, wifi and air condition as well as friendly staff, breakfast and a good atmosphere.

Good food. Helpfull staff. The most clean hostel i south america ;-)

I was a bit nervous about the idea of sharing the bathroom with everyone in the hostel, but it was cleaner than those I've shared in small rooms in other hostels. The location is great, the owner, Vitor, is a really nice guy! The hostel has a really good restaurant as well. And air conditioning in the bedroom is awesome in a hot weather like we have in the island!

Great place with loadsof character and very clean rooms/facilites. Would stay there again if ever in ilha grande.

noisy to sleep

Hello, We had a fantastic stay at the biergarten, the room and the hostel always very clean, good breakfast, the bathroom was very tidy and the staff super nice! I will definitely go back there.

Overall this place was AMAZING!!!! Clean, nice, great environment...loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Put it this way, I stayed at a different hostel in Ilha Grande because they had no more night available and I loved it so much I went back just to hang out at the bar.

We enjoyed so much our stay in Biergarten. Vitor and his wife were so nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and bright and the beds very comfortable. The common aerea was so cute and clean. The laundry service was also great. Breakfast is simple but good. We highly recommend this place.

Biergarten is a very clean and new hostel. Location is great and the services were good. The rooms were very nice.

Nice clean bright 4 bed dorm room, however, room was located right next to the bar with only the thin door separating. Not a major issue as the bar closes at 11pm and any noise stops but if you after an early night could be a problem. Staff helpful on arrival but had a few language issues later on.

Great atmosphere, part of the rooms are new, with new matress, airco etc, bathroom is clean, good breakfast and the staff is very helpful. The hostel was full, so we had to move to other hostel for the last day, El Misti, and this one is really bad: dirty, warm, smelly and staff is not helpful.
