It was a great place, and a nice spread out room. The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved though.

This was a great place to stay in Istanbul. Friendly and accommodating staff at a superb location. Be sure to book your bed in an ensuite though.. Otherwise you'll be fighting with everyone else in the hostel for 2 showers.

Great location. Right by the blue mosque and public transport. Breakfast is open till late morning on the terrace. Dorm rooms are pretty average. No charger right by the bed, no bedlights, but the dorm got on well so no issues with that. Bathrooms are clean. Staff- they're helpful, but appear a little zoned out sometimes.

Each guest should have its own key to enter the room, specially at night, in order not to wake up sleeping room mates. They should provide top sheets as well, not just the bottom one and a cover. Common toilet on the 2nd floor could be cleaned at least twice per day, not only in the morning.

Please work on the smell of the bathroom in the 14-bed room. I didn't complain while there since it was an inexpensive room but it was rather nasty.

Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! The staff helped me with all my sightseeing needs and I met awesome people to spend my time in Istanbul with. Facilities were great, breakfast balcony has beautiful views, I had a great time. Staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was the best!

Big Apple has very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good and the view from the rooftop terrace is amazing with the Blue Mosque in one direction and sea views in the other. The hostel itself is located in a great area, surrounded by restaurants, bars and the sites of Istanbul, yet far enough away to have some peace and quiet. For an extra 5Tl we could also purchase the locker below our bed in the dorm, which was a great add-on. Overall, we had an amzing stay at the Big Apple.

Great location, friendly staff and clean. Not the cheapest dorm I stayed in and quite basic so charging for towels and lockers on top of that wasn't appreciated.

It's more like a hotel than a Hostel. Breakfast and location are really good, bathroom has a lot of space and it's always very clean. Lockers have enough space. Staff is average and its English is very basic, so they don't give you recommendations about what to do!
