I went on january/15 and the hostel was empty. Not a very good place to meet other people, but a terrific location.

Loved this place. Facilities were great, location was excellent and the view from the terrace bar was incredible. The staff were amazing, extremely accommodating with all our needs, happy to show us around and recommend things to do and places to see. Highly recommend staying here while in Istanbul.

Staff are friendly, they helped you for everything. Locates 3 mins walk from Blue Mosque, definitely a good location to explore the historical side of Istanbul. The rooftop restaurant is nice. I met other travelers at the restaurant and explored the city together. Definitely a friendly hostel for everyone!

It was the best hostel I've ever stayed in! My dorm room had its own bathroom, room was cleaned daily, heating was very good and staff was amazing. The buffet breakfast was very filling and tasty, roof top terrace with its amazing view is an ideal place to call friends and drink some tea. Location is also very central and area is safe. Highly recommended! Nazlı :)

This solo female traveler loved everything about this hostel. Great location within walking distance of all attractions in the old city, clean rooms, delicious and filling breakfast, plenty of bathrooms, and most of all excellent staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Their kindness and generosity really warmed my 4 wet and cold winter days in Istanbul and the atmosphere makes it really easy to meet and mingle with fellow travelers. Will definitely stay here on any future trips

Very nice location, within walking distance of Aya Sofia and with a view of the Sea of Marmaris from the rooftop terrace. Lovely breakfast with lots of options, super friendly staff, and comfy rooms. Pro tip if you visit Istanbul in the winter time: bring rubber boots! Marije

Not only the location is perfect, smartly located close to the most beautiful -touristic- treasures of Istanbul, but also the staff (specially our new friend, Enver Yüntür) were great making us feeling welcomed and discovering much more! Thanks for a great stay! Rooms were good, a shared 6 bed-room with own bathroom. And breakfast (included) in the cafeteria in the last floor of the building... with a great view! Very recommended!

I have stayed here four times over the course of 9 months. Each time has been consistently great. The staff is always polite and flexible. The two things that make this hostel stand out are the location and social atmosphere. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are a two minute walk. The spice market, grand bazaar and Topkapı Palace are a fifteen minutes walk. The social atmosphere is fun as well. Every time that I have been there a group of people is going out to dinner, club or bar.

I have to say staff was TOP, specially Enver! The hostel is excellently situated, very near the Blue Mosque, between streets with bazaars, and near the sea. Room are OK, some beds don't have lockers, though. But you can't be in a better place. I'll keep coming to Big Apple
