The hostel is in a good location. Off the beaten pass, but a short walk to tons of nightlife and the subway/airport rail link. The dorms are nothing fancy, but no complaints either!

For Korean standard this place could be considered very cheap, Choi is very helpful and a kind owner. Location are superb, its about 5 minutes away from the subway and there is many restaurant around the area. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friend visiting the country.

There are some problems with the reservation system, as I booked two nights and only got one on the room type I requested.

I wouldn't stay at any other place!

Not terrible, but not great either. Mr. Choi is friendly, but the common area is cramped which makes it difficult to socialize.

I had a wonderful time here. I was in between jobs and stayed here. I stayed a few nights at this hostel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in a very good location and it's easy to get to the bars and clubs if that's what you're looking for. The subway is also close by. There were plenty of bathrooms with hot water. I brought my laptop and the internet worked great. The only thing is that the lockers are a little flimsy, but overall I had a wonderful stay here.

Big Choi's guesthouse is of the Mr. Kim's hostels in hodae. I live in Seoul. And fawn come here to get away from my neighbourhood on the weekends or between jobs. Big Choi is awesome and hilarious and there is always something fun and exciting happening here.

Great price for a single room. Close to Hongik University metro station and plenty of places to eat.

I\'ve stayed at so many hostels in my time and I have to say that staying at Big Choi\'s beats all of them by far. The place is clean, safe and the atmosphere is really friendly. Big Choi is such a kind and welcoming host (...and he can sing really good!). I will definitely come back again!

I had a great stay at Big Chois. It was my first time in Seoul and I felt very looked after at this hostel. I have stayed at many hostels in the past and this is by far the best!! Will stay again once Im back in Seoul!!!

I enjoyed my stay at Big Choi\'s very much! He was very helpful to my friend and I. When we asked him to book something for us, he would do it right away. He also made us delicious dinners! I will miss the great Korean BBQ! The only thing I wish we had were some room keys. We got accidentally locked out of our room the one time and though it was quickly resolved with a master key, it would be easier to have room keys.

I had such an good time there, if I come once again to Seoul I will stay there the whole time again. Beautiful location, nice Stuff, very good facilities and very good if you wanna meet other people!
