Had an incredible time at Big Fish Hostel. I have honestly never had a hostel experience like this. The place fosters such a sense of community. It has the perfect balance of being well organised, run, clean while still being a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the events put on a few times a week are brilliant. Thank you for everything!

Very nice hostel with perfect location right at the beach! really nice and relaxed atmosphere and the staff was great. This hostel is perfect if you travel alone because they arranged activities for everyone on the evenings, for example one night we went to old town for a tapas night, and the day after we had sangria-night at the hostel. Really nice place and i will definitely come back if i visit las palmas again!

Right on the beach...could easily go back and forth during the day to use bathroom, reapply sunscreen, etc. Everyone was sooo friendly and there was a pasta/tapas/wine night for a cheap and tastey dinner. Given a locker/lock in the room to keep it all safe. Really liked not having to worry about keys to get into the hostel when at the beach. Only complaint could be that ground floor bathroom almost always had a wait, but you could use the other ones which didn't. Would stay there again.

Good location, clean and well organized hostel. Closed to Playa de Las C. and few minutes walking from the bus station. A very good accomodation to spend some days in las Palmas!

One of the best hostels I have been at. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and lots of community activities like walking tours in the city centre , tapas and sangria night, italian dinner and even yoga in the beach :) Perfect location just 20 mt from the beach, clean and nice rooms, big kitchen and amazing rooftop with the best view of Playa de las Canteras. Strong recommended!

The hostel was amazing!! There was some confusion with the rooms initially but they accommodated to our needs as best they could and it worked out very nicely! The hostel was perfect for everything, the location was right on the beach and was very easy access to the water and the rest of the city. Plan on returning as soon as possible.

Excellent Hostel. Very well located, very clean although I did not put 5/5 but 4/5 because the bathroom tends to be full of sand, also this is something to expect when the hostel is located literally one minute away from a fantastic beach! Possibility to rent bicycle for half or full day. Car rental also available at a very competitive price! The only negative point would be that the street is busy (pedestrians only) busy and dorms/rooms by the street can be noisy some night.

The hostel was perfect—located almost right on the beach, brand-new and cosy—it felt like visiting someone's house. We had a double room with terrace (with view over the sea) and it was beautifully decorated, full of character, new and clean. The bathrooms were new and well-equipped. The staff are all young and cosmopolitan and very helpful and nice. The only downside I can think of was that often there was a long wait for the bathrooms. Other than that, 10/10. Definitely would stay here again.

Big Fish is a great hostel. I can totally recommend it. They organize many events so there's always something to do when you run out of ideas. It's very nicely painted (fish, pipes, origami instructions on walls of the rooms). There's also a lot of useful information (maps, timetables, ...) around the hostel and blackboards for drawing/writing if you feel creative :)
