The best hostel in Sydney, very good atmosphere with personnel and backpackers, and free wifi !!!

The fact that you could not see outside from the window of the room was a minus and the internet seemed to be very slow (in fact I could not use it with my mobile). On the positive side, the staff were very nice, sheets and toilets nice and clean (ensuite) and the breakfast was a nice "surprise"!

Huge hostel, door VERY NOISY, when the person next door open the door, it seems they're opening yours.b Lots of restoration being carried when I was there. You're not allowed to bring liquor from outside too.

The Big Hostel is a great place to stay,it is in a good location,its very well run,clean etc,i found the staff very helpful ,they really couldn,t do enough to help .i really would recommend this accommodation.

Showers are warm not hot. Dorm 101 was noisy as it was right on the road but sleep with ear plugs in and you will be fine.

The toilets and the carpet (!) in the dorms could have been much cleaner. The location isn't great, but the staff is ok and overall decent.

The hostel is very clean and the dorms are decent sized, but the kitchen is rather small. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
