The location really lets this place down. It is down a dingey alley just off an insanely busy highway which takes like 5 mins to cross every time. 1 member of staff spoke a bit of English but was never at reception to help anyone out. To top it off, the atmosphere was DEAD and the few people that where there didn't even acknowledge me when I said hi. Good points: free water, a pool, and lots of movies/tv series.

Walked into the room and there's a cockroach on the cabinet. This pretty much sets the tone for this hostel. I didn't want to get into the beds as they looked dirty. The places was very run down but we did meet people hence its score for atmosphere v everything else. This being said we probably met so many people because no one wanted to stay longer than needed in the rooms. Don't even get me started on the toilets and showers. Oh and the staff get rated low for never being there and being rude.

Only ended up spending one night here. Staff was very friendly, and the beds were cheap. You do have to cross the freeway to get anywhere.

The hostel itself was nice, clean and had a tv with loads of DVDs and a pool however I'm still not sure why people come to Sanur...

Greeeaaat Hostel! One of the best I've been to to meet new people! Rooms are nice, even the one without AC (but with fans) is fine. Plus no one wants it so you basically get it to yourself and have a private bathroom! lol Sanur is a quiet place but the people at the hostel sure makes up for it!! Staff is really helpful too

A good hostel, I would recommend it, nice staff and nice atmosphere. The only 2 things I didn't like were that even with air condition the rooms are hot, the air con is managed by reception so it can't be changed; also, the WiFi is limited to certain hours a day per person and it's slow...

Had an amazing time here. The pool was so great to have especially in the heat. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. Will definitely be back

I loved it! Really cool people there and the staff is really kind. Would definitely come again! The only thing I didn't like was the highway you have to cross if you're going out. It doesn't matter what you want to do, have dinner or go to the beach, you have to cross the street.

Awesome hostel if you want friends! Great pool and amazing staff, loads of great information on where to eat and where to go, highly reccomend as you'll never be sitting alone! Not to forget the awesome movie area with thousands of movies to choose from

Great place, good atmosphere. The only problem is the busy road you have to cross to get to the beach, otherwise it's a great hostel.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Clean swimming pool, comfortable beds, quite cheap and not too far from the beach and all restaurants. The common area wasn't very inviting to hang out (hard chairs, bit dampy) so there isn't a big backpackers atmosphere. Yet, a nice place to stay.

Great relaxing place to meet other travelers though not much to do around the hostel itself except the beach. If you can, hire a driver that will take you out for the day.

Brilliant hostel, lovely friendly staff. Only thing is the location. Other than that, spot on!

Amazing hostel, very friendly staff, extremely clean, thousands of films and a great pool for such a cheap price!! Can't go wrong! Loved it!

Stayed here on my first night in bali, its nothing special but its dirt cheap and the beach is nice and close. The staff are so nice! Met lovely people there. There's not much to the hostel itself though and it's not the cleaniest but i would stay again

It's a really nice hostel, after reading reviews I was a bit unsure, the staff are lovely, the ladies are constantly cleaning all day, yes I've seen the occasional mouse but due to the open plan lay out you can't stop it, not that it matters they come in sniff about and leave again, no harm done, as for ppl saying it's too far to the beach they must be really lazy or go the wrong way, beach is 15 min walk max,
