I didn\'t really read much about this place before I booked it, as it was near several dive shops and the main reason I came to Bali was to dive, so I didn\'t really have any expectations. All I can say is that this place is AWESOME. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and I got a discount at the dive shop next door. I would definitely stay here again and I can really recommend it, especially to single travelers.

Highly recommend! Very cheap wifi, nice pool, good socializing areas, very nice staff. As far as hostels go, this place as nailed it 100%. Enjoy, book early as it can fill up quickly even in low season.

After a disappointing few weeks travelling the big pineapple was everything I wanted in a hostel. Fun people, a great pool, minutes from the beach and delicious local restaurants and even an on site BBQ. Axel and Mia have created a home away from home, a haven for solo backpackers where a group of strangers become firm friends and everyone is welcome. I had the best time in Sanur and cannot wait to return, almost all because of my stay at BP and the people I met. Highly recommended!

I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5 nights even though I took day trips to Kuta and Ubud. Relaxed atmosphere - It's easy to meet people at this hostel. Internet cost 5,000 ($0.50USD) for 3 hours. Clean bathrooms, kitchen facilities available, and VERY helpful staff. Free lockers (bring your own lock) and motor bike rentals available too! Really enjoyed my stay.

1st experience staying in a hostel and I loved every minute of it. Clean rooms and bathrooms, the beds where made and changed everyday. Everybody had there own lockers in the dorms to keep there valuables in. You have use of the kitchen and utensils to cook your own food. Also there is a social room with a Tele for the quite nights in and a massive movie collection. The owners are friendly and will help you out with anything... can't wait to go back :)

Had an amazing time at Big Pineabble. Both Axel and Mia were very helpful and kind. They could answer any question. Facilities were very clean. I felt very comfortable and safe...great lounge areas and easy to meet other travelers. I have been traveling for 3 months and this was by far my favorite hostel. Great location and good place to depart for day trips around Bali. Thank you Axel and Mia!

Nice bars and cheap restaurants close by, the laundry down the road made my clothes smell better than when my mum does it :) Axel and Mia are nice, they cook you breakfast and take care of you. Nice pool and communal area, easy to meet people and everyone seems to be nice and relaxed. You've to pay for wifi but pretty cheap.

Axel and Mia were really friendly and mega helpful. The hostel is an incredibly easy place to meet people and I think the atmosphere really helps. I did plan to try and do a fair amound of work while I was there (working on the internet) and the connection wasn't t the best. I do believe that they were working on improving it AND I ended up being able to get a relatively fast connection through my phone so - not a big thing. I would definitely suggest people stay there if they float through.
