Staff were really helpful and friendly, the beds in the dorm rooms were HUGE and so comfortable, even sleeping in the 12 bed dorm felt almost like a private because of the layout of the room. There is a tram stop right outside that takes you to the city centre or train station and a massive konzum down the road. Beautiful and clean and the a/c can be turned on from inside the room. Great hostel!

Very affordable and nice, fun rooms. Friendly staff. Close to tram and bus. Amazing pizzaria around the corner.

The hostel is a bit far from everything even though you can find restaurants, cafés, taxis and even a few shops right outside. You have to pay extra to get the air condition (the hostel description is very misleading) an the air condition doesn't even work. The room we had was very humid and warm and without a real window. The staff is very nice and committed but they speak little English and the same can be said about everyone in the neighborhood.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; our room was new and fully equipped. The location wasn't great, though, it took us more than 30 minutes to walk to the centre (tramways run very irregularly at night) and was really bothered us the smoking. The entire common area reeked of smoke and since the bar was situated right in front of our windows, our room smelt, too. Also, when we asked to turn on the AC, we were told we'd have to pay for it. Generally okay, but not great.

Great staff and rooms. Don't be afraid to stay in the 16 bed dorms because they are actually quite private as they have curtains etc... Much more private than the 10 bed dorm I stayed in in Berlin!

Although a little out of town there is a tram stop literally at the end of the street, it is around 7-10 mins to the main square in the centre and the trams are very regular through the day (never waited more than 5-10 mins as there are two services to get to the centre). If you are out late a taxi back cost us around 25 HRK (~£2.50 or €3) so don't be put off by the location.

The hostel is NOT at it's map location on hostelworld. Put the address into google maps to get its real location far to the west at the end of the 6,2 and 11 tram line. However, aside from it's less than ideal location it wasn't bad. Staff were nice and the rooms and area was ok.
