Big Tree Lodge Methven

Big Tree Lodge combines colonial charm with the comforts of home. Our large colonial villa (formerly known as Redwood Lodge) and one time vicarage still features most of the original timber panelling and furniture. It offers high-speed Wi-Fi, a free internet terminal, free laundry facilities, modern and spacious bathrooms with separate toilets and a comfy community living room including a log burner, books, jigsaws, boards games and DVDs. Our huge, fully-equipped kitchen is directly connected to the living area.

There are six lockable bedrooms: twin, double or four-bed share plus one three-bed share room for our female guests. And the best part? No bunk beds!

Our beds are made up with fresh linen and duvets, clean and heated. In wintertime there are optional electric blankets available, if youre too tired to relax by the cosy log burner after a hard day on the slopes.

We have free lockable dry-rooms and snowboard/ski tuning (wax $10, waxnedging $20). If you want to tune the gear yourself, thats for free too!

We also offer free private off-street parking. There is mountain transport and door-to-door airport transfer available from local transport providers. Plus, were only five minutes walk from town centre!
