Take a sheet, as the bedding is SO old that its stained and thin so doesnt do much. The rooms are hot and stuffy and the air conditioning hardly works...

The Big Apple Hostel is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, in the heart of New York's famous Broadway Theater District. Just a half a block from Times Square. We are within walking distance of Central Park, the Empire State Building and many more interesting sights of New York City. We are also close to all public transportation such as Greyhound, Amtrak, Subway and Airport Transportation from Port Authority or Grand Central Station.

take the AitTrain to the Subway Station Howard Beach.($5.00) Board the A train ($2.00) to Manhattan. Get off at 42nd Street Station (Port Authority) walk to hostel.
From Port Authority Bus Terminal
Greyhound Station by TAXI ($5.00)
Just a 10 minute walk.
Walk on 8th Ave. north to 45th Street, turn right and walk 1.5 Blocks until you see the Big Apple Hostel on your left.
