watch out for the payment on arrival, u pay 70% of the cost and the rest comes out of your account unexpectantly. the location is hurrendous, to get to rome to see either vatican city, the colloseum or the trevi fountain from this hostel you walk to the bus stop (5 mins) get a bus for 5 stops, then a train for about 45mins. upon booking transport back to the airport a taxi turned up and had a completely different price to that of the sign in the hostels reception. also very very noisey

Location was less central than expected. Reception was not 24 hour so didn't see a member of staff as arrived late and left early. Nobody answered phone during reception hours. Atmosphere was none exit net as nobody was present. Wifi wasn't working, shoer was broken and no hot water. English directions from availed information where missing. More than 12% was taken out of bank account.

Bijou Rome is very far from Rome city centre and to travel there takes a long time.

Room is very clean and nice. Wifi not working for my floor... Have to go upstairs (and that didnt worked for my laptop either). It is very far away from city centre, you need to take metro to the end of the line plus 20mins bus ride. When we arrive the staff speaks no English but she is very nice. Overall i still recommend this if you have time in rome. This is in suburb but at the same time make you feel like home. (Also near to IKEA and nice meatballs)
