Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool. Staff friendly, rooms decent size and bathrooms clean. Bit of a walk from anything, but location not too bad,

we arrived their after a 3 day flight , its was packed but everybody was running around like nut jobs. People were drinking to all hours of the night breaking windows and glass bottles , no respect for the other guest. the room was dirty look like it never seen a hover. the bed linen smelled funny and their was cockroaches in the shower. i won't stay their again if , you pay. staff couldn't care less about people messing about keeping people up al hours .

The hostel doesn't look too bad and is pretty clean but because of its strict policies I felt a lack of character and freedom. Still not a bad hostel, just not relaxed enough in my opinion.

Nice and clean hostel. Good atmosphere, bit noisy in the weekends and their should be an extra lock to the door to better the security of your room. I would pay a few dollars more if I could've had a better breakfast and there are a lot of rules hanging everywhere around the hostel. The ensuite bathroom is a big plus!

Had an awesome stay. Would be good if you provide WiFi in the rooms.

Had everything. Huge room, clean, comfy bed, free basic breakfast, A/C, really helpful staff with plenty of info etc. The down side was the noise!! DO NOT get a room on the road side.

Great free breakfast. This is a good hostel to party and meet people. The location is ok, bit out of the way of northbridge and the city but you can walk or take a bus down. Rooms and common areas were pretty clean but the bathrooms could really have done with a refurbishment- every night there were cockroaches coming out of the crumbling plaster. Staff were not the most friendly. Good value for money though and great to have the pool. Would stay again.

Nothing terrible about this hostel but definitely nothing great. From what I've heard from others there's better out there! I wouldn't go back. No atmosphere, some of the guys at reception were pleasant and some just treated you like bold kids! For a solo traveller this hostel might be a bit big to meet people!

Was not happy with they pool side area saying no glass or bottles around pool yet they allowed people to drink round the pool till 1 am. The mattress i had on my bed was in poor condition as i could feel every spring and it had a huge sag in it. There was no milk provided for tea or coffee as was told you had to provide your own. You could not hear the news on foxtel as the radio was louder than the tv. The locker i had in my room was broken so i had to take my gear with me when away. etc etc.
