$27.78 nightly (dorm rate) does not includes the local 8% bed tax , which is collected upon arrival. Your total rate = $30

We are the main stop for shuttles coming to & from Anchroage, Denali, Yukon and Arctic Circle / Prudhoe Bay. Ask your driver to let you off here.
Ideal location within walking distance of the University of Alaska main campus, many shops, pubs, restaurants, bike trails,and much more. Easy access is provided by two city bus routes (Red and Blue Lines). See our website for more information.

We have several room types, some private, and some dorms. There are generally no more than 4 persons to a room.

NOTE: we make every effort to seperate the sexes, HOWEVER in the busy summer months the arrangement may be CO-ED.

There are daily shuttles from the hostel to Denali, Anchorage & Whitehorse.

Daily excursions to the ARCTIC CIRCLE, Hot Springs and other local adventures.

Backpacker Hostel is a wonderfully accommodating place from which you can base your Alaska adventure. You won't find a place with a more comfortable friendly atmosphere.

Please Note: We are a small hostel, with no Credit processing at this time. You may use credit to make a reservation (NON-Refundable deposit), but will need cash for the balance upon arrival.
