Bingo has loads of character. Excellent music in bar downstairs. Bathroom needs a scrub. Drinks - 28 yuen for a Tsing Tao is way too much. May be market price in such a noisy, busy town. This place is a cafe with a spare room and 3 bunkbeds. Being Autumn it was a bit cold and with no glass in the windows there were a lot of mosquitos. The coils and plug we were given soon got rid of these though. The toilets were in the cafe area downstairs, not great if you need to go in the middle of the night! Clean enough though and for the price I would stay again. As a cafe this place is great, little rooms that you could chill out in all day, right by the river. This a cool little place to stay. it's not an average hostel, it's more a cafe with a room above that has been converted into a dorm. the location is very central and is easy to get to everything, and is pretty easy to find. Great internet connection and shoe string french fries and movie library(a shame i had to watch it on my laptop as the dvd player was broken). Staffs were sweet and helpful, they provided me with a lot of travel info. There was no ac but the heat was bearable. I wish the toilets were cleaner and lesser cobwebs/dust around. The location of this hostel is great - even if it is a bit hard to find! The owner speaks excellent English and is very helpful and friendly. There is a midnight curfew, however, so if you want to stay out later, maybe stay elsewhere.
