we booked a double bed room which has a sea view. large kitchen with a wood fire place at the dinning area that has a paronama sea view too. free delicious scone everyday. inspirational and unique deco n arts. free glow worm dell just 5 min walk. towel and hairdryer are included. had a great time there exchanging ideas with other backpackers. so far the best backpackers place i have stayed in south island and really feel cosy and comfortable.

Good friendly staff and clean hostel. It is a bit far out of town if you are catching the bus, but if you have a car it is fine. Good ocean views. Internet on the one computer is very slow, needs to be fixed.

Nice hostel with clean facilities and a good atmosphere. However, the noise from the highway (trucks passing by at 100 kph) right next to the hostel is too loud if you're looking for a good night's sleep.

Very nice owners. Nice little hostel. Very inexpensive, but great facilities and wonderful view to the ocean from the dining area.
