Generally a pretty clean hostel. The 6 bed dorm I was in was extremely cramped and the bed was uncomfotable. Apart from that, not a bad place to spenda night or two.

My last stay at one of my favourite hostels in England. Thanks again for everything over the past 18 months guys. This place has certainly gotten busier since the extension was finished but it is still has a homely kindly of feeling in a psychedelically painted world. There is no one thing which makes it outstanding, just a package which works. Good staff, a Bar, big movie screen, late night snacks and a generally great vibe, even on a Tuesday night. Cheers, James

There with a group of 8. Felt secure and belongings safe. Friendly atmosphere, position excellent for NEC or town centre. Will go again.

This hostel was fantastic, I've been travelling for over a year now and it was one of the best places I've stayed so far. The staff are really helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is great, full of quirky little knick knacks and colour. It very quickly felt like home. Breakfast was good and so were the free (small) suppers; you definitely won't starve if you stay here. They even have wifi in the rooms unlike a lot of places. Could not recommend this hostel more highly.

I really LOVED my experience at the BCB - the staff was really friendly and there was the possibility of getting dvds from the common room for free, and this was great for the first nights since I was alone. Only things I have to say, the location is not so good, the street is kinda scary, and one of the buildings is pretty old so one of the toilets was not exactly working, but it's not their fault. Only thing, I stored there my suitcase and there was not any kind of control.

The staff were wonderful and most of the people there were great but my last night there a group of obnoxious betties came in trashed the room while playing crappy music and when they came back at 430 in the morning I promise they didn't bother to be quiet or care that they were waking everyone else up in the room. Also while walking there the first night from the train station was a bit sketchy, but the hostel itself made up for it. Clean brightly colored and welcoming place

I only stayed here for a few hours as a layover between Scotland and Wales, but for the little time I was around it seemed nice.

Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I will stay here again as it is in a good location and offers good value for money. The only downside is that the bunks are slightly uncomfortable and a make a bit of noise when you move but I believe that the owner is in the process of sorting that out.
