Good stay in Bari. The position is central.

There are several properties, and the main office is poorly marked although theb staff is polite. The kitchen could be cleaner.

The hostel was very hard-to-find & I am not sure if I would not have found it if one of the proprietors had not been on the balcony looking for me. The location is good-only about 4 minutes' walk to the station & 20 minutes to the old city. It is in a nice commercial area in an old building, & had locks on the building, the front door, and for each room. There is good wifi and a computer, a kitchen, and a single bathroom, perhaps the only downside. Owners speak English, Italian, & Spanish.

Staff were very helpful on arrival, room was comfortable and kitchen and bathroom well-appointed. Very close to the central train station, and a short walk along the shopping streets to the old centre.

Missing heating, broken pipelines in bathroom and a big dog in the common area.

I couldn't take the breakfast, I couldn't have the private room.... I didn't expect this kind of hostel, which is actually way closer to a student house for couch surfing

Very good location - close to city center! Very clean and staff made me feel like at home! She gave me a free upgrade to a single bedroom although I booked 4 bed mixed dorm because they didn´t have so many guests! Thank you, Kristina :-) Only tricky thing is you have to check in at a different address than the actual hostel address. But they inform you about the details via email before your arrival ;-). So, shouldn´t be a problem...

There are 2 apartaments: "checkin" near the station and "via imbriani" 15min from the station. I stayed in both: in checkin I lived with the staff, too cool! There's everything free: bed linen,towel,phon,laudry,pc,kitchen! Via imbriani has only the kitchen, but I could go in the checkin whenever I want. The worst thing was cleaning apart sheets and a towel, the rest was not that great.

It's an interesting place, with a cool staff and a great dog we just loved! :)
