A great place to stay.Incredibly clean, with nice and helpfull staff. Big rooms and lockers, also free big towel. It is in the center of Pest. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Affordable, clean, quiet, safe accommodation in a convenient part of Budapest which enabled me to see the sights on foot. A lovely girl runs the hostel who was friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for more for a trip to Budapest on a budget.

It is a cosy small hostel, quiet, very clean and close to the center. The staff is freandly and very helpful. The lockers are very big and the beds are comfortable . I recommend highly this hostel because it was if I had been at home. Thank you Black Apple!

We chose this hostel after reading several positive reviews on the internet. On one hand it fulfilled all our expectations - the hostel is cheap and in quite a good location near the city center, the room and facilities were clean. On the other hand, the hostel lacks character. The staff were quite distant. Also the walls are quite thin so you can hear everything that happens in other rooms.

Good - clean, nice, hot showers, good locker and wifi, towel included, small kitchen Medium - in the 6 person room the heat didn't work Bad - LOCATION, ok yes, it is near the tram, but the street is dodgy and I did not feel safe walking from the metro to the hotel on my own. The weather was cold and mizz, so it was too far to walk to the city center. The staff was not helpful - little english/couldn't even recommend a place to get coffee.

Black Apple is a small hostel, but located right in front of the tram car track stop, clean rooms, nice people and Budapest an amazing city, would totally stay there again.

Spacious rooms, which had separate beds and not bunk beds, with a lot of natural light and really friendly staff! Very convenient location, on a very central street of Pest, next to a tram stop. It could use an extra shower and toilet. We would definitely recommend it!
