i shared a room with 3 girls (possibly 6 people could have slept in there) with no window. the air was a little like it is in a cellar...

This place sucks. The one good thing is the breakfast, which is very generous and tasty. However it takes a while to come so skip it if you're in a rush. The rooms are little caves, super dark and moldy, with gross bathrooms. The staff was unhelpful and overworked. Everything felt grimy. Yuck, you can do better for $11 a night in Guatemala.

Great atmosphere and happy hour! The breakfast is some of the best food I ate in Antigua, especially after a night out in Antigua. If you are super worried about security I'd bring a little lock. And bring your own towel since you have to rent one if you dont bring your own!
