Hi I only meant to stay for one night but i liked it so much i ended up staying for much longer. I have traveled for many years and i think this is one of the best hostel that i have stayed in. . The staff were so helpful in everyway. The breakfast was also very good. The location is also very central to everything. Ten out of ten.

Great hostel. We only stayed a night but we were made to feel very welcome. The dorm room looked massive and the walls of the double room were thin but we slept pretty well. We'd stay again.

Good location (downtown), very nice staff. But breakfast wasn't that great, just bread, butter, coffee, milk, yogurt and artificial juice. There's a cat but it isn't black (actually it was white and black).

I thought it was not well organized as a hostel. Not clean enough, needing maintenance. I changed the hostel to another one. The private rooms were good, i saw one... But wouldnt recommend it because there are a lot a better hostels in asuncion, and cheaper!

The staff were very helpful. They knew local places for shopping, eating, money exchange, and even looked up movies playing in the area for us. We went during the summer when it was very hot and the air conditioning was great.

Black cat hostel is near asuncions center. Reception is open 24/7. So you don't need a key. It's clean. Excellent living room with AC, tv, dvd's. Breakfast could be better, but for this price unsurpassable! Steff was very friendly.
