Had a really good time. Mint as Kiwi BBQ Sunday evening, definatly going back for that! Staff were really helpfull, knew loads about what to do in Medellin and the other departamentos nearby. Felt safe there, and the fridge is always full of beers! Chevere!

Very nice hostel with the warmest and most informative welcome we have recieved in the americas. In a flash residential area but within walking distance of metro, cafes, supermarket and zona rosa bars. Great kitchen

Black Sheep was a legit hostel. Not quite the party scene that I've heard Kasa Kiwi to be, but Black Sheep is a great place with all the amenities, really awesome, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location right next to the Metro line and still like a 15 min walk from all the sweet bars and restaurants in the Parque Lleras area. Also close to this free outdoor gym we came across, which is great for anyone trying to get a bit of exercise on their travels.

The staff went out of their way to provide assistance with both local attractions and transportation to my next destination. They even had recommendations for places to stay.

The hot showers were excellent, some of the best in my travels through SA. Calvin, the owner is very nice and knowlegable, as are the rest of the staff. My one gripe, is that some of the dorms are over crowded, with 8 people to a room. if you have a double private room though, it is excellent. the hostel is incredibly clean

Nice Hostel, location is quite good, next to the Metro station and to zona rosa. The girl that works in the morning is really nice, the guy at night was a bit strange. Beds are ok. What I didn´t like was that you have to pay for using the computers and the wifi didn´t eork. Anyway, would recommend it.

Kelvin, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He does a fantastic weekly BBQ (I think Sundays... ours was Monday but it was a long weekend). I had hot showers, clean rooms, and a comfortable bed. There are a lot of small lockers but no big ones. The kitchen is pretty good, and there's a widescreen tv with satellite. A couple of patios. It's close to a delicious and inexpensive bakery, and a short walk to Exito, a large supermarket that also has ATMs. Also close to the metro.

The place was awesome. Great rooms, clean, good price, super friendly staff, big kitchen, good location.

Very nice warm and friendly hostel, I would definately recommend staying here. The showers were also awesome and it was very clean.

Nice people, very helpful staff, every sunday a very tasty barbecue! Close to zona rosa and metro station! Extended our stay because we liked it so much!

overall awesome. there are staff cleaning constantly, the owner is proactive fixing and stocking the hostel and making sure everyone is having a good time! beers are cheap and there is a great vibe, i would stay here again in no time.

Black Sheep was great! Fun atmosphere, helpful staff and great showers! Sunday BBQs were awesome too. Only thing I could say is it was a bit of a walk to the bars and restaurants but not bad since the neighborhood is very safe.

This was my favourite hostel I´ve stayed out in South America...the entire staff are very friendly and did whatever they could to make my stay a good one. The location is great...just 10 minutes walk to the parque lleras which is where the main nightlife area is situated. The rooms are perfectly clean, quiet and spacious and the bathrooms are nice and big with a great shower. The staff at the front desk are very helpful in organising any activities you may want to do. Overall just a great hostel!

Blacksheep was a great hostel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always available for information etc. Great bbq on Sunday night. Nice safe location, close to the metro to access everything in the city. Exceptionally clean. I enjoyed my stay and I can't fault the hostel at all. Thanks to all the staff!

Nice hostel, but accomodation is a bit old and the rooms are noisy, showers aren´t that good either. The owner is a great guy though!
