One of the best hostels I've ever seen. Close to the metro station of Poblado, nice and helpfull staff and a clean hostel. We stayed here almost one week. The private ensuite room is like a good hotel room. De quarter around the hostel is somewhat upscale and it's hard to find a cheap restaurant in Poblado. You can find a good one near Parque Poblado: a stylish pizzeria with very good pizza's and pastas. For normal Colombian paisa food, you can better go to Medellins working class hero center.
Great kiwi run hostel. Walking distance to supermarket, great restaurants/bars. Good hostel organised tours. Nice atmosphere, social but allows a good sleep too. Good kitchen with everything to cook for yourself. Wifi good. Would stay again.
Great stuff, super helpful! good location (walking distance from the bars). Awesome kitchen and common area.. cleanliness got 3/5 since most of the time bathrooms (both in the dorm and common ones) were dirty.. I stayed in the 10bed mixed dorm which was big enough but the top bunk bed is SUPER close to the ceiling and they need to re-paint the room since the paint is peeling bedly.. overall great atmosphere and I would reccomened anyone to stay there and take their amazing Guatape tour!!
Nice hostel in a good location. Bathrooms were a bit messy at times. There are lots of dorm rooms so at times the amount of people was overwhelming. Juliana was an amazing host, the other guys working the front desk weren't so nice and one played guitar on his night shift which we could clearly hear all night.
Nice hostel, really clean and great helpful staff. Not that close to restaurants about a 30 minute walk so if you want to be near cafes and etc I'd find something a bit closer to zona rosa.
Had an awesome few days at this very cool hostel.first stop in Colombia was Black Sheep Hostel, after being on the move for a number of months now, this wa one of few Very Social Hostels I've stayed in,not a party hostel really but cool, happy, friendly travelers, was a pleasure staying there
The Black Sheep Hostel is clean and with a nice atmosphere. They had mixed up my booking, so I had the first of my three days in a dorm. Which is okay, but not what I had booked. I would still have lived there again if I go to Medellin.
Front desk staff is incredibly helpful. Also go to a soccer game if you have the chance while there.
truely satisfied. Staff was amazing, location is good I experienced it as a very social hostel where it was easy to meet other travelers. highly recommend this place when spending time in Medellin. thanks
well organized-professional staff-hard working employees and management-nice rooms-clean-very good athmosphere-free computers for use-printing works-free wifi
This is a larger hostel with lots of activities going on. It is in a good location, although, you need a taxi at night. But there is no hot water in the showers, so only stay here if you like cold showers.
This was the second time we stayed at this hostel. Would stay here again. Really good bunks, well equipped kitchen and good showers. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Super friendly helpful staff Very nice day trip to Guatape with Diago! Loved the barbeque!
Staff were helpful and the atmosphere was great.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen is very well equipped. Good pressure hot showers. Close to the metro stop and supermarket. Would recommend if you ars staying in Medellin.
This was a decent hostel, with a kitchen and facilities to get by as a traveller The atmosphere was a bit lacking though. However, it did have a nice chilled vibe. The lack of a social platform e.g. a bar, makes it much more chilled.
Really nice hostel with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The 8 bed dorm was very spacious and the beds were surprisingly comfortable for a hostel. I really loved that it was so easy to meet people there. The outdoor area is shut down at 11pm which is really nice for the people who want to sleep early and no problem for those who want to go on as the hostel is directly next to the party area of Medellin. Do the offered Guatapé Tour, the guide is really cool and you get to see a lot.
Severe lack of bathrooms leaves lineups with long wait times. Location is good of you like it quiet at night since it is located in a residential neighborhood. The walk to Park Lleras is maybe 12-15 minutes. Nothing standout about this hostel very average. Sunday BBQ did not have enough food was left still hungry and had to make dinner anyways, wasted 15000 cop. Very full hostel and much more expensive than other hostels you can get privates on calle 10 for the same price as their 4 bed dorm.

Traveling for 2 years. And really one of the best hostels in my trip.
Black Sheep hostel was nice and in a nice location (although our taxi had trouble finding it!). Our room (private) was very nice - almost like a hotel room! The hostel had lots of communal areas which was great, although there wasn't much atmosphere while we were there, maybe cos it was a Tuesday! The staff were helpful in giving us some tips about the city and you can book tours and things through them. Overall would definitely recommend.
