Great staff. Very clean. If you plan to sleep, go for the 4 bed-dorm. I liked the space of the room and the hot shower of the shared bathroom. Well equipped for computers, although the wifi doesn't work in rooms. Most guests speak English. So if you don't manage the language, you can feel isolated. The house is in a lovely area, not too far from a metro station. Rooms could be decorated (walls), feels a bit like hospitals. I would recommend the hotel.
AMAZING Hostel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean facilities - I saw the cleaning lady running around all the time. Nice atmosphere. Good location next to the metro. Can HIGHLY recommend it.
located in a good area, not far to metro station, good wifi, spacious dorm, big bunk, but not very sound prove,my dorm was next to the bathroom, could hear people flushing the toilet all night
Great hostel, really good atmosphere, lots of places to chill or drink and get some fresh air also had a big kitchen too. Food shops and huge supermarket were really close too. Staff were friendly and informative. We booked the Pablo Escobar tour through the hostel as well. Hard to fault this place.
Black Sheep was very comfortable, comfy thick mattresses, good fan for when it's a bit hot. The kitchen was great, lots of space
Brilliant stay. My favorite hostel in South America. Great common areas, helpful staff, perfect location. Haven't a single complaint I could make!!
Very nice. Would definitely visit again.

Decent enough hostel, kitchen is nice and clean with good utensils. TV room is nice. Not that many open areas to hang out. Nicely located close to a metro stop and massive supermarket.
Had the best kitchen we have seen so far. The frying pans had a non stick coating, there was spatulas with handles and even sharp knifes. The location is great, only 15 minutes walk from the main drinking area of Medellin. The tv room is amazing to just chill out when you need a night off from partying.
Me and my three friends really enjoyed our stay here. It is a 15minute walk from the centre which is fine in big groups or by taxi but not recommended walking alone. Taxis tend to find it difficult to find the hostel but eventually do. Staff were good. Not only one common room unfortunately so felt it was more difficult to get to talk with people. Nice stay.
Great Hostel. Staff are very helpful and friendly, good level of English. It's walking distance from Zona Rosa/Parque Llaras. The staff will recommend you do the tours there. The Gutape one is a waste of money. The man that runs it is not registered it that old bus he drives about so unlikely to be insured if he crashes and seriously injures anyone. He told the group this if the Police stopped us. The PE tour I never done but heard the women that does it has an attitude problem.
Staff are helpful and nice, they are always at the counter for you. And it is amazing how they can remember everybody's name. The neighborhood is a bit expensive but there's supermarket and metro within walking distance. Hot shower. Enough space in the dorm to put your luggage. During the weekend it becomes a big party hostel because it's close to the bar area. But you can still meet all kinds of cool people there since it's a huge hostel.
Fantastic hostel in a great city. Booked in for 1 night, stayed for 5. Clean, good facilities, great public spaces and very attentive and knowledgable staff. We had a private room and it was easily hotel standard! The only issue I had was the Pablo Escobar tour we were sold through the hostel. It was extremely expensive from the beginning, but I thought it would probably be worth it as it is run by Pablo's brother and you get to meet him as well, but it was abysmal. Complete waste of time.
Nice hostel in a quiet neighbourhood, short walk from metro station and zona rosa bars and restaurants. Some nice communal areas and a good, functional kitchen (no breakfast available, but there is a supermarket nearby). Private room upstairs didn't have much character, but the bed was comfy and there was lots of room. Wifi worked well. Shared bathrooms were clean. The staff were fantastic and the best part of this hostel; very friendly and also full of great information!
Great Hostel, helpful staff. They knew some great tours to do.
Hands down favorite hostel I have stayed at. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Very clean. Day staff were very helpful and friendly (One night staff member was nice but not prone to over extend himself). Location excellent if you don't want to be surrounded by bars and clubs...but they are close as is the metro. Bakery
I stayed in a private room for two nights which was great. The bathroom was very nice and the room itself was comfortable. The room did not have air conditioning, but the fan they provided was sufficient. The staff at the front desk is very helpful and friendly. Highlight of the hostel. The location is safe and in a cute neighborhood just a ten minute walk from the metro. I'd recommend the Black Sheep for a stay in Medellin!
Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful I will stay there again!
Very happy with the staff; helpful and friendly
