The staff is really helpful and nice. They can tell you all you need to know. Very good atmosphere. 100% recomendable!
First off - the BEST shower i had in Colombia!!! Great place to stay, not a party hostel but has a great vibe and very nice atmosphere. the owner Kelvin is really a nice guy, very helpful and he throws an awesome BBQ every sunday. as value for money goes, i booked myself a privet room and when i checked in Kelvin upgraded me for a better room with shower and TV with no extra charge. I highly recommend this place
Great staff, especially the female receptionist who´s name I´ve forgotten¨. She was so welcoming and friendly and truly made the experience. Rooms were clean and location was just a short walk to the metro and massive supermarket.
Good staff, fast wifi, comfy beds - would stay here again.
Some of the most exceptional customer service I have recieved on my entire trip. The girl working at the front desk was so helpful! This hostel also had an excellent vibe and social areas, it was super easy to meet people.
very friendly staff. hot showers and fast internet
Great hostel to chill out. Beer is cheap and kitchen is great to cook your own meal. Supermarket is near. If you can arrange to be here on a Sunday, make sure you subscribe for the BBQ. Most of the staff members speak English very well. They can help you with the greatest tips to get around the city. Rooms are spacious and clean.
Excellent sociable hostel, staff were great, lots of varied common areas, kitchen slightly small for number of guests, only real annoyance was the distinct lack of cutlery.
The internet connection at Black Sheep was probably the best I had in South America. The girl at reception was also probably the nicest and most helpful hostel staff member I encountered. But the room itself was average, we were in the basement room (so it was quite dark) and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. There is no breakfast included, and the kitchen facilities are average. However, while the hostel isn't set up as a party hostel (there is no bar), we found it quite social.
Beautiful double rooms, quiet street, nice and helpful staff. No breakfast but a sufficiently equipped kitchen and a good supermarket nearby help to solve that problem. A (minor) issue is the fridge where things tend to disappear. Not sure if this is due to the guest the hostel tends to attract or due to the cleaning staff. Nevertheless a hostel I would always choose again.
The blond girl is The funniest receptionist ever :-)

Perfect place for the young travelers that wants to meet people and have fun at the hostel. Huge place and very nice. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere in the hostel is super nice
Nice hostel, the staff were friendly and the private room was really nice.
The owner was very nice and accommodating. Staff was very helpful (although it was sometimes hard for them to help because they don't speak English). There are also very few outlets in the rooms, but the rooms are very clean. Overall, it was clean and convenient to the metro and certainly one of the better hostels that I stayed at in Colombia.

This was everything a good hostel should be. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and lots of communal areas.
I had a great time, here, and would definitely return. Close to the metro which is a fast and easy way to get around the entire city. They can sort tours for you - I've been told the walking tour is brilliant but didn't have a chance. I did take their tour to Guatape - which was absolutely brilliant - go if you can. Good facilities, good atmosphere, close to shops - a great place to stay in Medellin!
It was very clean and well run. The common areas made it very easy to meet other travellers and the staff were very helpful. The private rooms were spacious and well appointed. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.
Stayed 4 days, private room shared bathroom. Clean, close to metro. Joined a couple if tours on offer. Very happy with the quality of service. English and Spanish spoken.
