Good kitchen, minutes to a huge supermarket, clean rooms, bathrooms are okay, great TV chill out area and plenty of outdoor areas to chill. The front desk staff are epic, seriously helpful and nice. Great area, definitely book your tours through them. All in all a perfect stay in Medellin.

The staff are excellent. Especially the lady that works during the day in the week.

Great Facilities and a very comfortable hostel with friendly staff. A good area to stay for partying, a little out of the center though but close to the metro. The hostel is big but so comfortable you spend more time than you intend to just hanging around. It's a great place to stay and the staff are very helpful.

Favourite hostel in South America! A bit of a walk to the main row of bars etc. but not a problem. Great social atmopshere and staff are really helpful with everything. Really good chill out area as well and they run good tours.

The ladies who run the front desk are FANTASTIC!! Other than that, there isn't a lot to write home about this hostel. Too many beds in too small a space, and not enough common areas. Super bro hostel too - ladies might want to chose something better for the same prices.

Great staff. Very clean. If you plan to sleep, go for the 4 bed-dorm. I liked the space of the room and the hot shower of the shared bathroom. Well equipped for computers, although the wifi doesn't work in rooms. Most guests speak English. So if you don't manage the language, you can feel isolated. The house is in a lovely area, not too far from a metro station. Rooms could be decorated (walls), feels a bit like hospitals. I would recommend the hotel.

AMAZING Hostel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean facilities - I saw the cleaning lady running around all the time. Nice atmosphere. Good location next to the metro. Can HIGHLY recommend it.

It's a party hostel so be prepared; late nights, loud rooms, little sleep. No breakfast is included but there is a kitchen well stocked with whatever you may need to cook. Helpful staff help navigate the city.

Women who runs reception is amazing. Youll see. Spot was super fun, definitely a party hostel. Lots of boozing on the patio before everyone heads out to Poblado (about 10 min walk). Tv room is epic and the roof is a cool spot to chill too. 5 min walk to supermarket is always awesome too.

The hostel is in a good location, close to the metro station and exito supermarket, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the bars and clubs. The hostel had a good atmosphere and nice communal areas. Tours can be booked via the front desk. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others.

Great hostel, really good atmosphere, lots of places to chill or drink and get some fresh air also had a big kitchen too. Food shops and huge supermarket were really close too. Staff were friendly and informative. We booked the Pablo Escobar tour through the hostel as well. Hard to fault this place.

Decent enough hostel, kitchen is nice and clean with good utensils. TV room is nice. Not that many open areas to hang out. Nicely located close to a metro stop and massive supermarket.

Had the best kitchen we have seen so far. The frying pans had a non stick coating, there was spatulas with handles and even sharp knifes. The location is great, only 15 minutes walk from the main drinking area of Medellin. The tv room is amazing to just chill out when you need a night off from partying.

Me and my three friends really enjoyed our stay here. It is a 15minute walk from the centre which is fine in big groups or by taxi but not recommended walking alone. Taxis tend to find it difficult to find the hostel but eventually do. Staff were good. Not only one common room unfortunately so felt it was more difficult to get to talk with people. Nice stay.

Black sheep was a good hostel for Medellin. It's close to a metro station and a big supermarket. There's a communal kitchen to use (although it's pretty small for the number of people at the hostel). There are also loads of different communal areas including a big TV/film area. The rooms were clean and more like hotel rooms than hostel rooms. The staff were really helpful and booked us on to the free walking tour (which otherwise you'd need to sort out online if you stay at a different hostel).
