Prety clean hostel. I was surprized to know that there were a mixed bathroom AND a girls only bathroom, it was a delightful surprise. The kitchen had all the information we needed to do food there, the places where they kept the kitchen stuff were labelled, so it`s really practical.

The hostel was not at all what I expected. For the same price in many other cities we stayed in much nicer facilities. I would not recommend this hostel.

Staying was amazing!!!! I totally enjoyed with my staying! Location is the best! You just need to take 1 underground line to the hostel. The only thing that i was looking forward to is Wi-Fi Connection... If there would be a Wi-Fi Connection at the hostel it would be much better!!

One of the beds was really squeeky and the noise from the traffic outside was very loud, but apart from that it was amazing, really nice and fun. Great staff, and cool decoration, we were in the fairy room :). Would visit again

I like the interior design of the hostel, makes you feel like home. The location is great, close to an S-Bahn station. Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is a bit simple though. A negative point is that the cleanliness is not that remarkable....the bed sheets are pretty old, they do not empty the rubbish bin every day and the bath tub can be much cleaner. Overall it is still a nice place to stay.

Really nice place. Just across the street from the tram (train station is 4 stops distant, as well as the cathedral). Near a lot of bars and pubs within walking distance. Breakfast until 12pm also included! Would stay again.

It's a pity to report about the kindness of peoples which work there, along with the consideration of dirtness I found my bed...

I enjoyed my stay at Black Sheep Hostel. I had already been in Germany for a few days staying in hotels and was ready to meet some people and socialise and did just that. The hostel staff were also great and cooked food with you and that made it even more enjoyable.

The bathrooms were clean, and large. The kitchen and common area was very nice to cook dinner and meet fellow travelers. I forgot to bring a towel, and they were able to provide a small one free of charge. The free pasta, and the free breakfast was nice too, and helps travelers to save money. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff went out of their way to help and settle us in, rooms were pretty standard hostel fare with little lockers to put your valuables, free tea and breakfast always a plus, friendly fellow guests also. Good times!

The staff was very friendly, and the design for this Hostel is excellent. Only the bad thing is two noisy when we wre sleeping,we could here exactly what they talk and shout in the next room in the midnight.

The only thing I can fault this hostel on is the lack of wi-fi, which is quite astounding. I've stayed in 30-40 hostels around the world in the past year, and this is the only one that provides no wi-fi whatsoever. I would have stayed longer, but moved after one night to another hostel that has embraced the internet age.

I didn't have the best stay due to some very irritating people staying in my room, but I cannot possibly blame that on the hostel. All the staff were lovely and very helpful, and the place was pleasant, clean and reasonably tidy.

The hostel is close to the train station and the main road, consequently it is very noisy. Regarding "the breakfast" I was very dissapointed ... to be tottaly honest, there is no breakfast in comparison to other German hostels ... there were some things on the table (in the kitchen) but all together does not deserve the word "BREAKFAST".

Excellent hostel with great staff. Clean sheets, comfy beds, nice showers but most with busted joints so you must hold it with one hand, small but working kitchen, included breakfast is simple with just some milk and cereal. Location is outside city centre, but right across the street from tram. However, the highlight is that it is 5 minutes walk to great cafes, bars and restaurants which are frequented by students and are good value. I checked in when 'Ben' was on duty, and he was very helpful.

Fun little place. The location is a bit far from the HBF/Cathedral area, though it is walkable if the weather cooperates. Breakfast left much to be desired but the place seems to attract an especially-fun group. Beds are very comfortable and showers are hot!
