Black&Wild Hostel is very well located. Its close to the beach (within 3 minutes distance) and close to the cental part of the city, yet on a relatively silent street. It is not the hostel with lots of facilities, events and vibrant backpacking-style atmosphere. Its rather a good base for beach recreation and sightseeing. Its design is very nice and lots of good cafes and restaurants are located nearby. We have chosen a mixed dormitory and it was a good choice, perhabs better than private room.

Security was good but relied on other people staying to ensure they locked doors - perhaps an automatically locking door that could be opened from the inside would be better (and better for fire safety). The bathroom shower was terrible - the only temperatures of the water was freezing cold or scalding hot!

Good option, especially for a couple.

Nicely located close to the beach. We shared the bathroom and living room with two more privates in the basement. Basement atmosphere wasn´t nice. The bedsheets were not changed as we could tell by some hair that wasn´t ours. the bathroom was really dirty, same for the kitchenette we didn´t want to use. Staff was friendly but seemed unorganised. WiFi available but unbelievably slow. Wouldn´t recommend this one.

Great value for money! Perfect location. Highly recommended.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and excellent location! There's not kitchen but tons of cafes and restaurants in the same street so it's good. It might not have the fun vibe that other places in TelAviv have but that could be exactly what you are looking for.

Stayed in a private room in the basement. The hostels common area looks quite nice and shiny, big flat screens and everything you need in the kitchen, but lacks a little bit of atmosphere. The innerspring mattresses are sort of poor quality will shake you around if somebody moves, the basement is not the nicest place, didn´t feel so well there. Location is great, cleanness too.

Great location but few bathrooms.

Definitely geared toward an older crowd, hostel is fairly small with very little common space, just the one-couch lobby and 3 table outside, not many bathrooms and showers for the number of beds on the lower floor. Its a nice clean and more boutique-y hostel but lacks any sort of atmosphere, this isnt really a place where you'll meet new people and socialize. Best thing here is the location, close to many restaurants and the beach.
