Black and Wild was a very nice hostel in a perfect location. I would have trouble thinking of any specific suggestions or improvements for it.

Everything was fine, very good location (next to the beach:) and helpful staff - we definitely recommend this Hostel.

The staff are quite nice, but the private rooms are rather sub-par: they are located in the basement of a nearby apartment block. Most of the basement rooms have no windows, and the air conditioning is much weaker than in the hostel itself. So usually it is quite hot and stifling (about 28C). The whole basement is quite dirty (even by hostel standards). It has a simple kitchen (fridge, some utensils, a stove, microwave) but no tables or place to eat (and eating in your own room is forbidden)

Good stay overall. Black and Wild boasts clean, modern facilities with a fairly knowledgeable staff. Good noise protection from city. Unfortunately if you are traveling as a single or couple, the social aspect of the hostel is pretty lame. I'm not after a party atmosphere necessarily, but there really weren't even people to talk to in the common area. Stay here as a hotel replacement, but not for the fun worldly experience of a hostel.

Probably the shabbiest, least well thought of and designed and least hostel-like hostel i have ever stayed in. And yet we had a pretty good time! the hostel is extremely well located, only a few meteres from the beach and the staff was nice. we had booked two beds in a 10 bed room and arrived to the information that we would stay in a twin room. Was great to hear as we are a couple and were exausted and in need of peace. beds were small but better than most hostels i've stayed in.

Modern but unfortunatly scruffy location. Not very dirty, but why is there so much waste in the backyard, where is the problem with repairing a broken shower cubicle?! WLAN is on the room but not very stable. Kitchen has no possibility to cook, no water cooker, just a microwave. Air condition is for three rooms together and very drafty. Problem: hope your neighbors dont put it on very cold and leave the remote control in their room... :-(. Near to the beach and many restaurants, bars.

I really liked the fact that there were free lockers offered inside the dormitories. Each bed was equipped with a thick curtain that one could draw in order to shut out the light. That was extremely convenient and provided each visitor with the necessary privacy within his or her own bed. The lavatories/washrooms were clean enough to feel comfortable. The same goes for the entire interior of the hostel. The staff was helpful and open to any of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay there.
