This place was awesome! It was very open and inviting and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a great time hanging out with and cooking with Szabi! Cheers and hopefully I'll be back sometime!

My only complaints are that the trash in the room was overflowing for the two days I was there and the breakfast was not worth the 2 euro.

Odd location - lots of walking to get to anything worth seeing. Staff not helpful and never saw them move from behind the desk to do anything (ie.clean etc). Hostel had one shower for the whole place (that we saw). It was okay - stayed in better with more helpful staff

I wd prefer to review Colors Hostel (Veres Palne) nearby hostel where I stayed 3 days after Blacksheep. Both very good but "colors" decidedly better. Colors has a good breakfast-- well balanced and served carefully: Blacksheep has a very good 'vibe' and is friendlier.

Brilliant.

This place is much better than the police station I stayed in the night before. much more friendly and accommodating. Greta is amazing, I was pretty drunk and slipped over in the shower and popped my arm out of its socket. As I lay there alone, whimpering to myself on the cold floor of the shower (which was immaculate I must add) Greta came in and single handedly popped my arm back into the socket. I feel that this is above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Black Sheep, you changed my life

The hostel is centrally located so it is great if you want to party the night away. However, it is a bit loud if you want to sleep and the lighting makes that hard as well.

Jiim was awesome. Great host and guide. I really liked this place. The location is great. Easy to find and get around. Quite a bit away from most attractions though. While there half the showers were broken. Sure they fixed them by now though.

Black Sheep Hostel was centrally located which was very good for someone who needs to walk everywhere. Jim was great and interacted with the people who stayed there very well and was helpful. The only concern was the showers. The detachable shower head never seemed to stay in the holder causing me to hold it during my shower. Other than that it was very clean and friendly.

Staff are so helpful and friendly. Jiim was amazing and an excellent cook! Had an awesome time at the black sheep!

We enjoy our time in Black Sheep. We will return.

Black sheep was a clean, well located hostel. I arrived around 9.30pm and within a few minutes knew everything and eerybody and was off for a night on the town. The staff were cheerful and helpful, special thanks to the staff member Dori who took me to a free concert after her shift, told me about the city and was generally awesome!

Just recently returned from Budapest and the Black Sheep Hostel. I can say with 100% truth that this is the best hostel I have stayed at. My friend and I both stayed here in an 8 bed mixed dorm. On our second night the hostel was completely full. The atmosphere was fantastic. We joined many of the other guests on a pub crawl that was organised by the hostel. This was fantastic and a definate must. Location is great and close access to all sights.

Good location ! There's a nice Kebab downstair the hostel that is one the best in the city. The employees are very nice, specialy Jiim !! He's always here to answer your questions, and help you when someting doesn't go well. It's easy to meet people there aswell.

We had an amazing time there, met some cool people! The staff was very friendly and helpful..

Loved my stay here. I stayed three days/nights and the staff was incredibly helpful. Jiim, one of the staff members, was extremely helpful during my stay. All in all I would HIGHLY recommend this location for those seeking to visit Budapest and enjoy the wonderful sights the city has to offer.

great hostel. The only weak point is that the noise from the common room is heard to high in the bedroom
