i loved my (too short) stay here. The managers Annette and Sonny are just lovely, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hostel has a nice homely feel, it's just around the corner from the I-Site so it has a great location too. I would love to stay here again. thanks for a great stay guys!

everything about the hostel was great! comfortable, affordable and the location could not be better! it was right in the middle of town, and completely walkable to and from everything (like the major bus stop from out of town!). it was definitely a little piece of home on the trip. worth every bit of it! will definitely be staying there again in the future if we plan another trip to rotorua!!

Blarney's Rock is a great place to stay, the staff are excellent and really make you feel welcome. They also give good advice on all the best things to do. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.

Really enjoyed Blarneys and I would DEF come back and stay here again. Great location and very homey. Def not a party house (which I really liked) and it was great for traveling alone.

A wonderful hostel with such excellent hosts: Annette and Sonny made me feel so welcome. Having my laundry ready and waiting for me at the end of the day and a heater on in my room to keep it cosy was just perfect. Excellent location too, and very clean. A great place!!   Read Owner Comments

After 5 months of travelling and staying in A LOT of hostels, I cannot rate this place high enough. Right in the centre, clean, great facilities and hosts (Annette and Sonny) who were by far the best I have come across. We only had 24 hours in Rotorua so wanted to do as much as possible and if it weren't for those 2 we would have probably have done half of what what we did. Stay here and you'll see what I mean!!!!

This has to be the cleanest hostel in the world. This place is like home. Right in the centre of the town too. The staff where the nicest people I've ever met, a great place to stay.

Sunny and Annette really make this place feel like home. They are so welcoming and were very helpful. They took the time to get to know each guest and were so kind! I highly recommend a stay here!
