What a brilliant place, que rico!! Rudy and his wife Marie-Isabel are doing a great job to make you feel at home. A barbeque, going out for some clubbing or going with you to a docter and translate the spanisch spoken doctor, theý did it all for us! It was difficult to say goodbye after 9 days! We'll certainly return next month. This hostel and the lovely couple deserves a rating of 110%!

The owners were very nice, and the rooms and facilities were well kept and cozy. My only complaints are the request that we leave out room keys there when we left (and the keys were left out when we would come back). Also, every night when we returned (between 9 and 11 usually) the entire place would be shut up, and we'd have to wait usually 5/10 minutes before being let in (except for the night no one was home and we waited over 30 minutes). STILL I was able to enjoy my stay there.

Excellent hostel. Wished we had found it sooner in Santiago. The owner is so welcoming, friendly and ensures that he chats to you about Santiago and other places to visit in Chile. I would recommend this place to all.

What a wonderful place! This was our second hostel in Santiago and we were so glad that we decided to move! Blend is truly unique. Rudy and Marie Isabel were so welcoming and ready to help us with anything. Within a few hours we truly felt like we were part of a family, which is so important when you are traveling. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful house in a great non-touristy part of Santiago and who is eager to meet really interesting people.

A lovely place to stay in santiago - rudy is such a good host which feels more like a homestay. The hostel only has a few bedrooms so you are really made to feel like a part of the family. Rudy is also an excellent source of information about places to see in chile and his enthusiasm rubs off on you. The hostel is only 1 minute from the nearest metro station in a good area -it was such a nice change from staying in the usual backpacker hostels.

An excellent place with a very warm at homely atmosphere. It was the perfect place to spend a couple of days recharging the batteries. It is quiet at night and all beds are singles or doubles - no bunk beds! The hostel owner, Rudy, is fluent in English as well as Spanish (and, he tells me, Greek. He and his wife are, very friendly and only too keen to provide advice and travel tips. Well situated close to plaza Brasil and Cumming metro station. So good I returned when I next passed through Sant.

Really nice place with great host. We can recommend it to anyone. But it's not a party location! Which is good.

Very amiable and helpful host, living there rather feels like staying with a local family than in a hostel. Rudy gave lots of helpful tips for transportation, restaurants, vineyards and art galleries. Especially the last point is something to point out. You'll have a great time discussing art with Rudy if you like! The hostel is a rather old house, so you'll have to accept a shower with its own will, but the rooms are clean, the beds are great and the breakfast is excellent! The living room is f
