Was upgraded to a family room which was great. Room very spacious. Seems a little unorganised...was told we had been double booked and there was no space and no alternative accomodation for us, only then to ring the next morning and reconfirm. The lock on our room was damaged from an attempted break in i imagine. And we were given the wrong code for the door. But, there was a good atmosphere and the bathrooms were clean and there was great character to the place.

The room felt a bit dark and dingy but the hostel is kept clean by staff. The kitchen wasn't clean but that as due to other guests not cleaning up their mess. The location is brilliant as you are right in the centre of the city.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Very convenient location.Nice balcony Bathrooms are clean. Convenient storage under beds, but rooms need some upgrading changing carpets for starters. The TV room and dining area also need to be renovated -some fresh paint and stay away from the current dull grey and black colours. Very important: One night I went to the kitchen for a drink of water found couple making out on the kitchen counters Management should enforce strict afterhours rules.

The 8 person female dorm was not well maintained. There was no air circulation and under my bed was very dirty. The Balcony Bar made the hostel worth it. Living area was smelly and dingy as was the kitchen.

The room were really dirty with lots of hair in beds, on the floor. It was hot and no window, aircon or fan. The showen and toilets were also really dirty. The kitchen were so disgusting so we never had our including breakfast there. The linnen fientligt feel clean and the whole place were really poor. We Will never come back, even though someone paid us. Better too sleep in a park!
