This hostel is in a good location with everything you need nearby. Ercole (the manager) showed us all the important locations and good restaurants in town on a map. This was a great help and the restaurants he suggested were all excellent and good value. My wife was not well on our arrival in Rome and Ercole arranged for a doctor to attend the room a few hours later. With some treatment from the doctor we were able to continue our trip and enjoy the sights of Rome. Thanks Ercole for your help!

Beautiful room, very clean, with an antique character (wooden ceiling), totally renewed bathroom, and a very friendly owner. Owner gave us good information and a map on arrival. Would definitively recommend this romantic setting for couples.

The owner is very nice, he helped us with the luggages. The hotel is very lovely, close to the station :)

Definitely like a hotel, room was really nice and cleaned every morning. Location was good, a little hard to find when arriving at night but would def stay here again. The manager was really helpful and always available if we needed him. A great stay!

The room was very clean and had character, my only criticism is there is no reception and on our last day we couldn’t leave our bags at the hostel after check out when we had an evening flight.

The hostel is great, especially taking into account how hotels are in Rome. The only problem was the noise. The bedroom door is not good enough, so you hear every person that comes in and out. Besides, the check out is extra early (10 am). Being able to leave at 12 pm would be nice.

Blue Hostel is a wonderful, clean and supremely located hostel!Hercules the owner is a warm and friendly, and most of all helpful man, who immediately made us feel welcome and showed us everywhere to go and eat and drink! I would recommend it to anyone travelling primarily in pairs!it is located 5minute walk from the Termini and in walking distance to every site in Rome!Thank you :D

Blue Hostel is definitely what it says, Hotel rooms for hostel prices. The room was fantastic, king sized beg, very clean and private. Very close (max 4-5 kms) from all the major tourist sights, with the Coloseum just around the corner and down the road. If your looking for a typical hostel then don\'t stay here. It is much more suited to couples and is very much like a hotel, ie no kitchen or dorm rooms. Personally I loved it, but missed the social interaction of a hostel.

Was expecting cooking facilities and a common area but the Blue Hostel does not have these. Also I was expecting to pay the price quoted by Hostel World but there was an extra tax added on when I got there that had to be paid.

It was certainly one of the best hostels we ve been. The atmosphere made the difference and the staff was more than helpfull(thanks Marcello!) We graded everything as excellent. the character is unique, security was really raised for a hostel, the location ideal, very clean, very beautifully decorated and warm people, the best place to go back to after a full day of walking and sightseeing!whenever we return to rome we ll certainly choose it again!

This is a good place to stay for couples. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The location is good, too - close to termini station, but in a quiet street. We were happy with it and would definitely book it again!

We stayed there for 3 nights and were very pleased with our choice. Despite of arriving to Rome quite late at night, Marcello, the manager was very kind waiting for us to give us the keys and explain us everything in the room. It's a great place to stay, very well located and in a few steps from Termini station.

the hostel was very nice, but the only problem was it is on the third floor without a lift, there was no info about this on the website. And you have to pass through 3 doors with bags in your hands, it was really difficult. The decoration and cleanliness was good but I d prefer somebody from the staff to be present at the hostel 24 hours, you can only call them when there is a problem, and it takes 25 minutes for them to arrive.
