The Blue House was really one of the worst Hostels I stayed in during my trip. The stuff that welcomed me did not speak any English and therefore could not help me with things to do in Punta Arenas. Later on there was at least one guy speaking English. The rooms did not have any lockers for the backbacks and also not much space at all. The bathrooms were nasty with mildews everywhere and most of the time without paper. I can not recommend this hostel!

sure, this hostel is a little bit run down, but the stuff is very helpful tries to keep it clean. so you get what you pay for. would recommend the penguin tour to isla magdalena that is offered by the hostel. they can make you a good price for that.

The hostel is in dire need of modernization. There's no lockers and the breakfast was pretty weak. But the staff are really nice and helpful. the hostel seems to cater to Israelis the most

The hostel is very poor in cleanliness. The bathroom is old and dirty! You get the wrong impression about the hostel compared with the photos online!

sorry friend, have a special person to Cleaning, another lady for breakfast and the kitchen. Maybe someone just pasastes after showering,. the truth that many people come to the hostel, maybe you needed a single room with private bathroom so everything would be perfect for you good luck on your trip

Guy at the reception is very helpful. Dorms are a little cramped, wifi's good, kitchen is adequate, breakfast was basic but went on till late. Checkout is noon and there is 24h hot water- PA is Cold! Great for a short stay, might be best for groups not solo travelers. Good value for money cause Punta Arenas is pricey!

The owner was very sweet and eager to help but unfortunately the place was in need of a serious cleaning and repairs left and right. If you're on a budget its ok for a night or two, but my friends and I weren't sad to leave in the morning. On the plus side they had kittens when we were there!

Was not a very good breakfast, the kitchen was dirty and messy, and the entire place just seemed poorly kept.

It has a bit of a run-down and slightly neglected feel. And I discovered when I went to bed that my head was only separated from the toilet by a very thin wall. This, and creaky floor boards didn't give me the best nights sleep. And there was a smell of drains in the room. It's cheap, but there are others in town at this price too, which are better value and have better facilities.

the kitchen was fitlthy and there were 4 cats wandering around. found that the common room got cramped and there was no place to relax. no lockers. staff were helpful but pushed expencive tours that were not worth the money. hostel catered to isralies who were unfriendly to the travelers of other nationalities.

Hi, as you saw the kitchen is always clean, the cats are not the hostel unfortunately give people food, and never enter the kitchen that is always closed the door. 2.-lockers to be ordered are not in the room. 3 .- If you're not nice to share with other tourists is a bit difficult to see how good the hostel. good luck on your trip
