I was there during the bushfire, so... But the hostel was great!
Great staff, great advice for a bush walk and an easy going atmosphere (of course, we're in Australia)
Literally the best hostel ever, staff can't do enough for you. Rooms come with free coffee / tea. Kitchen is huge and logically laid out so numerous groups can comfortably cook simultaneously. Common room also huge, includes pool table and open fire, what more could you want. Separate T.v. room for movies etc. Heating in rooms a massive bonus in winter or when you're soaked from a hike through waterfalls etc.! Amazing, as is the area. You should stay here.
I have stayed here a couple of times and will go back again. It is warm, clean and has great facilities. I stayed in a dorm; all beds have lockers and are big enough for the number beds. There is a huge dinning hall and a well equipped kitchen, the tv room has free dvd's to borrow, the bathrooms are spotless. Staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. It might be a little more expensive than other hostels but it is a special place.
Good location & great atmosphere! The ensuite is very cosy & thanks for the $1 ice cream on Sunday.
Good place to stay, very clean and well located (walking distance from the train station and from the three sisters). It's a bit expansive for dorms and you have to pay for Internet, for luggage storage on the day of departure (but not on the day of arrival)... but the place is definitly nice and clean. I would recommend it.
