It wasn't too bad a hostel, I've stayed in better, but I've also stayed in worse. Staff were friendly and helpful, although there seemed to be no atmosphere about the place. I would stay again, if I had to

We had a double room for the 2 of us, it was impossible to sleep with all the noise, not just from the hostel but from the traffic... The windows were impossible to close.

The moment I walked in, the place felt like home. Good mix of backpackers dropping by and people working and staying for a longer time. The most relaxed hostel I have ever been. Location up the hill on Brunswick Street, close to "the Valley", way nicer than the center. Staff is very nice and helpful, easy going. Maybe it wasn't perfectly clean, but in my opinion that keeps some spirit in the place :-) Definitely a supernice hostel!

an ok little hostel, clean and quite quiet. could do with air con and internet, also carpet the main corridoor or something as the noise of people walking can be heard from rooms and is ridiculously loud! woke me up 3-4 times a night.
