Great location! Right across the street from the beach, and a mini-mart/liquor store. Chill place with a nice courtyard to hang out with other travelers. My top bunk was missing a panel so that was kind of uncomfortable but the 6 person dorm had a sink, microwave, and fridge in it. Bring a power splitter though, only 2 outlets in the room (4 total). Fun place if your by yourself or with some friends!

Awesome hostel with a great pool. Very friendly and informative staff. Just a heads up there is no kitchen, but food in town can be found very cheap! Loved this place!

We had a great time staying at your hostel! BUT, we chose it because of the yoga in the morning, and you no longer offer it. False advertising, man.

I went to Costa Rica to explore and found myself staying at this youth hostel unable to leave, and when I did I came back. It's a testament to the place that I wasn't the only returning traveller. The staff make this place. Perfect for first time surfers to wander over to Tamarindo beach with an instructor or for more experienced surfers to hire a car next door and venture out along the coast each day.

We got a private room at the hostel and it was really nice. I traveled with my 20 year old daughter and 9 year old son. The room was clean, there was air conditioning and a kitchen. There are no towels in the bathroom. My only complaint is that there was no hot water. The location was great. It was right across the street from the beach.

Blue Trailz was such a great hostel. It was located across the street from the beach and a supermarket, and was down the street from plenty of great, cheap restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Tamarindo.

I wish that I could accurately describe how amazing this place was. I was supposed to stay for 3 days and stayed the entire 10 at Blue Trailz. The staff was so helpful, friendly and awesome. The people staying there developed one of the most cordial and inviting ambiance's I've ever been a part of. I cannot stress stronger how amazing my time at this Hostel was. And then you look at the price--for 10 dollars a night its robbery. I never once questioned the security of my stuff. Pura Vida.
