The hotel is in an old and newly restored old nice building, just opened in March 2013. Somewhat difficult to find, as there is no hotel sign at the building, so please print out a google map paper and look for the house number. Vaporetto stop is Ca d'Oro. Free WiFi. Clean bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast (5 € extra) is poor, so you better take it outside.

Well, Blue Venice was undergoing restorations so actually, we stayed in Casa Arte, probably a related hotel. Our stay was for 2 days. I found the daytime receptionist to be a bit abrupt or rude. But other than that, the breakfast was standard, cereal, bread roles, coffee etc. The room was nice, big and with a shared bathroom. It was close to Academia, and easy to get to. There were no facilities on site for drinks/vending machine etc and we were only told about the WiFi on the last day.

Room and location is very nice. But we had to wait 2.5 hours for the guy who let us in. Then, the room was not cleaned yet and he told us that breakfast was not included (which was promised on the homepage). Only after a big discussion we got a reduction of the price.

On one hand it's cheap, pretty and not bad located. But the guy that received us tried to charge us with more money than the actual price for less nights than we had reserved. There is no room service at all (no room or bathroom cleaning, no sheet or towel change). The bathroom got really messy everytime anyone had a shower because there was no courtain or anything to clean up, and it stayed like that for days. They say they have breakfast but they don't and the wifi doesn't reach the rooms.
