This is NOT a hostel! We had a very nice hotel room in a kind of apartment complex, but our contact person did not even live/ stay there but was only available via phone. An only chinese speaking reception was available for thw whole building. The room was very good but we have expected and wanted a hostel!

Great place to stay! You can't tell how nice the rooms are based on the lobby, but other than that everything was better than expected. Very good deal for the price!

The hostel manager, Joey, was the only one who spoke English, but he was extremely helpful! We were given tour info, English maps, bus routes, site-seeing recommendations and even a free ride one night to the local hot spring baths with Joey and his friend! The hostel is more of a long stay hotel type, but still great value for money. In our room we had laundry facilities, double gate, fridge, huge bathroom, cable tv and balcony. The blue mood light in the room as a night extra touch! Loved it.

Very very nice room, well equipped with a super relaxing bed! Ikea styled room, you will easily feel like at home! free Towels(of course ;-) ) and such a cheap price!!!! The big house itself is old, crappy and looks unsafe, but just leave the elevator and the lobby, enter your room and everything will be fine! And for free: balcony with a nice view. By the way: the Hostel is NOT in Kending, it is in Hengchun a dirty small town, that could be found in Mexico as well. Budgettraveller?go there!

Might due to the timing, because we arrived pretty late at night and left pretty early in the morning, we didn't not get to see Joey, the host. But he did texted me and called me to confirm on the trip and everything. Hostel itself is in good condition, but the locationg might be kinda hard to find I feel. and getting dark at night. However,if you are taking bus, the bus stop is not far from the hostel, just need some time to find it. most importantly, rent a scooter to go around, its fun

Great place, helpful and friendly staff, and most of all: an AMAZING newly renovated room. To be honest we didn't spend much time there (basically just one night) because we preferred to run around on our scooter. However the room was lovely enough and equipped with a HUGE new TV set (should you prefer watching TV over the beautiful scenery in Kenting). Staff will help you to hire a scooter in town, that (plus good weather) is all you need for a great Kenting holiday.

When we first arrived at the hostel, we weren't sure if we were in the correct place or not. It looked like an apartment building. We were met by Joey, who welcomed us, and brought us up to our room. The outside appearance of the building isn't much to look at, but the rooms were quite nice. The only complaint that I can think of about the room was that I had to hold the shower head by myself in order take a shower. The furniture in the room looked new and inviting.
