From San José you drive
approx. 2 hours to the
pacific port town
Puntarenas. From there at
the ferry to Paquera.
The ferry dock is 2 km
from the terminal at the
tip of Puntarenas. You
can either take a taxi or
go to the local bus at
Avenida Central.
In Paquera busses wait
for the ferry and the
lancha. Therefore the bus
schedules may vary.
