Well-connected by buses; Great cheap food nearby; Top's Supermarket is also very close; Cold and hot drinking water are provided. There are always quite some smokers in the house though.

The bed was as hard as a board. I sleep on a Chinese mattress at home which is pretty hard, but this was almost unsleepable. The upstairs bathroom does not work, making late-night trips to the john a dangerous trek since the stairs are wonky. The stairs are sturdy, just not even. I am not sure that the bathrooms get cleaned. Ever. Still, for 200 Bhat...

I enjoyed the fact staying at this guesthouse felt like staying in a Thai home. Also, the owner was a really nice guy, friendly and helpful. The general atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and welcoming. My only complaint would be it can be quite a hassle finding your way from the side of town the guesthouse is on to the other (the Skytrain area).

We loved it here. It is off the beaten tourist track, but you can get to just about everything cheaply (15 baht) with the water taxi which is less than 5 min walk away. The only complaint we had was that the walls are pretty thin. Most nights this did not matter at all, but our last night there a couple arrived in the middle of the night who talked (loudly) until dawn. This is not the hostels fault so much as rude guests! The beds are hard, but we still rebooked for Nov!
