Great place to chill out. Guesthouse itself is a bit rustic but all the basic needs are catered for. Located in a Thai area, barely any tourists. Boat to Koh San takes about 15mins. No AC but fans. Nice Thai lady runs the place, can't speak much English but enough. Great stay.

Difficult to find! I was lost many times, I missed your street many times and I still don't understand the numbering scheme in small streets. Maybe you can create a drawing of the small streets or something?

wonderful plae to stay especially if you want to try a variety of thai food and experience the less touristy bangkok. motorbike taxis from there were very very cheap but make sure you have a map because most taxi drivers arent sure where it is

The location is unknown for many taxi driver and is pretty hard if you are new in Bangkok to get from everywhere to the hostel. But is a good place to stay with a good staff..

Free water! Nice little place in a real Thai neighborhood. Hard beds but still a really good place with lots of facilities. Decided to stay for a month..

This hostel is not for everyone, because the facilities are not exactly modern (i.e., cold showers, which are actually nice in the heat[!], and your basic flush-using-a-bucket-full-of-water toilets); it's located in a non-touristy area relatively far from the main backpacker area; and the furnishings are quite basic. However, the place can grow on you. My first instinct was to leave right away, but after I settled in I realized how relaxing the place could be and even spent an extra night there.
