Very friendly people working here! We visited during a very rainy week, but the staff helped us have a great time and took it upon themselves to show us around. The food was amazing! Evey bite was better than the previous one. If I had stayed somewhere else, I would have come to Bluewater to eat.

A great place to stop off if you are visiting the islands etc. It is GREAT value for money - rooms are clean, breakfast included and a huge box safe under your bed (in 3 bed dorm, not in 4 bed dorm). The dinners are fair priced around 17 FJD and really tasty - we ate there a few times, no need to go anywhere else. They can help you book anything at the desk too and very helpful.

The downstairs dorm is awful - no key for the door, no lockers, bunk beds with about 50cm of room on the lower bunk so you can barely turn over in your sleep. Speaker from the bar directly at window blasting music til early hours. No air con control so either boiling or freezing. When I checked in and paid they didn't have change so said they'd get it to me later - staff changed so never got it. Woke at 4am with a naked man (NOT from my dorm) touching me. Food excellent, but expensive.

I have been traveling for 13 months and this was the best hostel i stayed in! The place is very clean with Comfy beds, neat facilities, great pool and it is in a perfect location! The staff are amazing! They are all very friendly, helpful and really make the effort to get to know you. To top it off, the food is amazing! I tried nearly everything on the menu and I was not disappointed with a single one! I will definitely be going back when I can and I recommend anyone visiting Fiji pays a visit

You get treated like family here. Wonderful staff..exquisite food to die for...I couldnt find a single thing to complain about if I tried. Definately the best hostel I have stayed at and will be back!! Joe and Fiona are amazing and so friendly you will feel sad to leave. Book early as this place is in high demand and totally deserves its star rating!

I loved the people and the snacks that were provided throughout the day (i.e. pineapple).

Bluewater Lodge is the perfect place to stay before you start your island-trip. It is a lovely family business. Great food.Great atmosphere. Relaxed and calm. You will be able to get in touch with Fijian culture :) Rooms are clean. Nice swimming pool. Everybody is nice and welcoming! Highly recommended! Stay at least two nights. It is easy to get a dead cheap bus to 'town' ...

The place you want to be when you go backpacking. Great value for money, excellent staff, clean, tidy and beautiful. Breakfast is included and great (Papaya, watermelon, toasts, butter and jam). Good coffee and tea to have as much as you like. Dinners are awesome, perfectly presenter and good priced (a bit less than 20FJD). Good bar. Rooms (with aircon) are clean, with nice and comfortable beds. Toilets clean and good. Nice swimming pool, and just 2 min to beach. Quiet and relaxed at night.

We were put in the dorm downstairs (we previously stayed in the better dorms upstairs) and it was dreadful. Not that clean, noisy as right beside reception, the aircon remote was lost so we had a choice of hot or cold and we saw numerous cockroaches in the hostel that evening. Overall not a very enjoyable stay, thankfully only 1 night!!

Perfect location to stay for a night before heading to the islands. We had a room upstairs which was much cleaner, quieter and more secure than the one we had downstairs when we returned from the islands. Breakfast was OK and staff were friendly, like all of the people in Fiji!!

Hostel is very small, but in a good way. Staff is really friendly and food is amazingly good. We left most of our stuff there for a week while we went island hopping and they stored them without extra costs.

The people who run the hostel are very nice, they know you by name and they try accomodate you as much as they can (asking you if you want another beer when yours is finished or keeping stuff in storage when you're on the islands) - I stayed 2nights and came back at the end of my trip! The resaturant is also amazing, garlic prawns or styrfry for 17FJD! Loved it!

Fabulous room and facilities, wonderful food and lovely bar area for meeting other guests. Internet didn't really work, even with the code, staff forgot my wake up call (but I made the flight anyway), and transportation got a little wacky both ways, but it all got done. Would stay there again.

nice hostel with free internet/breakfast, pool, bar and comfi beds. Aircon. is a plus but without a remote to control the temperature useless... the best thing about this hostel is the awesome food! yummy. we used it as an overnight stay before going to the yasawa islands. the bus for the awesome adventure picks you up right around the corner. The hostel also offers a F$8 pick up from the airport or just catch a cab for F$12 outside. Very cheap and clean hostel with nice people. Would stay again
