Bodega is certainly the niciest place to stay in Phuket. Awesome staff, great food, great location, met cool people there.

Choosing Bodega was one of the best decisions I made when I came to Phuket. The living facilities were clean and secure, the kitchen was excellent, and best of all, their kind and welcoming staff made it feel like a family away from home at the end of the day. They're filled w/great tips and advice - just tell them what you want to do and they'll help make it happen! A special shoutout to Bodega's patio - such a friendly place where I met so many interesting fellow travelers from all over :)

overall is nice. the food in the hostel is really good and also in nice value in phuket. however, since i was in a huge rush when i checked out. so i forgot to get my deposit back, but its only 200B. so not a big deal. clean, near to the beach. however, the wifi is quite bad.

4 major complaints about Bodega 1.Bad internet connection 2. We were on the 4th floor, the 2nd floor is the kitchen for the restaurant… the smells from the kitchen lingered in the stairwell leading up to our room 3. The room that I was staying in had shades to block out the sunlight on one side, the other side of the room had sliding glass doors that didn't block light! 4. The room that I was staying in had air-conditioning, however it was still really hot

Everything is superb. One thing is that the wifi can't reach the rooms, which i find to be a pretty big problem for me. I stayed in the 8 bedroom dorm on the top floor. My friends stayed at the private ones and they got wifi signal and is a whole lot better than the dorms.

The staff were incredibly helpful at helping us organise our stay (travelled with friends). Made us feel welcome and couldn't have done more for us. rooms were largely clean but there were some questionable stains on the walls in the dorms. good bar and easy to meet other travellers

Although we could stay only for one night, we were friendly welcomed by the staff. They helped us with everything. The doubleroom was really clean, cool and had a huge bathroom with a nice working shower (which wasn´t always the case in our Thailand-Trip. We highly recommend this ho(s)tel

The staff were some of the friendliest we haven't throughout the world. The manager Amann gave the same level of attnention as any 5 star hotel we have stayed at. Bodega is where we will always stay on return trips to Patong.

I arrived in Phuket at Bodega at 1 o clock in the morning. The staff was very friendly and walked me up to my room. The gentalmen showed me where I could put my stuff in my own locker! There were separate lockers for my valuables, which was very handy the next day when I went to James bond island. The James Bond island was the best for me the Thai boys on the boat made my trip amazing. Bodega staff interacted with a group of us and played cards and had lots of laughs and smiles. I will stay here

Great environment, SUPER chill and friendly staff, (one of the best I have experienced while staying in hostels), facilities are more than acacceptable. Food and drinks are decent too. While I'm not a big fan of patong beach, if i ever decide to go back, I will definitely stay at Bodega again!

Great location for a single night, not somewhere to spend a lot of time. Great place to meet people and the staff was very nice. Maybe I should have done more research but I didn't know the hostel had rooms across the street (didn't love that). Good value for money.

I'm not a fan of Patpong, but this hostel was a gem on a quiet street with awesome food! It was the highlight of the city!

The hostel was amazing. Location is superb. I was in a private room, which was almost like a 4 star hotel, with mini-bar, safe, flat screen. Staff are so friendly. I enjoyed there a lot and I do recommend it to anyone.

Hostel was in a great location, very clean and very safe. However, it is extremely overpriced (especially for food and drinks given the area around it - 50 baht for a "mixed fruit plate" with 3/4 of an apple and a mandarin orange! When I expressed surprise, to their credit, they added a cut of pineapple and a banana. Especially surprised given the overflowing tropical fruit bowl on the counter...), and I felt like I was intruding by being there, except for one lady at the counter, who was great!

Unfortunately the aircon needs to be turned off during the middle of the day. If you're hanging out in the room during a hot rainy day, you might be disappointed. Overall though, great accommodation at the very last minute. Enjoyed my stay and the other guests thoroughly.
