The Bodega in Phuket is ok if you're looking for an average and clean hostel, but walking up the four floors, to your dorm with the very small lockers is not one of the nicest hostel experiences I have had.

Had an excellent stay in this place. No issue at all. Friendly staff who operate 24/7. They are also able to help in booking tour packages and taxi for much cheaper price. Rooms and toilets were clean during my stay. They had very comfortable guests' hang out area as well.

The staff were lovely, and at night there was another staff member, i'm presuming night security, in the bar area as we arrived home in the early hours. The room was clean and spacious. It was a four dorm and we all had our own bed, no bunk beds - in our room anyway! We each had a locker with key in the room. Good atmosphere in the bar and they have a lovely chill out area above the bar with free use of two computers. They serve a good selection of food and can advise on travel. Great place :)

A great place to stay for anyone travelling to patong. Great atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff made our stay at bodega one of the best during our whole trip. Located pretty close to the infamous bar street in patong (cant remember the name off the top of my head), and even closer to that big mall (again, cant remember names). Bathrooms smelled kinda funky and lockers were very small. All in all, highly recommended to anyone travelling to patong.

I stay 4 night, nice place, near junceylon mall with \"BIG C\" where you can find many things that you need, near to car / motor bike rental, helpful staff, and this hotel free from all filth life, not to noisy we can sleep well, thanks Bodega, Warm Regards from Me n My Wife

it's located not far from patong beach and other attractions like bangla road, jungceylon, banzaan market, all are within walking range. I stayed in the private room with balcony, it was spacious, clean and the bed was nice, their staffs are friendly which makes them different from other hostels. I thought it was just a joke when they said I could have 1000 baht at their bar for becoming their 1000th friends on FB, but when I got there it was a serious offer ;)

Great staff, couldn't fault them. Brilliant food.

The best thing about the hostel is the location, it is in the heart of patong beach. the staff are very good. but what bothers me the most is the smell of the toilets as the fans absorb the smell to the inside of the building even to the 4 bed dorm . also the kitchen is in the corner of the lounge where the computers are, so when stay there the smell of cooking is every where which is very bad. I think this hostel does not deserve the high rating given to it. definitely I'll not come back again.

This is a great hostel, I had such a great time here not just because of the location but because of the staff. They help you with anything you need and they're also great to just sit and chat with. This is one of the best hostels I've been to and once you stay you'll want to keep coming back.

I was only here for one night, in transit. The room was very comfortable and clean, and staff were very friendly, and helpful. I pretty much had dinner and went to bed, as I had to catch an early shuttle to the airport (only 150 baht, and organized by staff), but it certainly seemed as though there were good options for going out partying, should that float your boat

Our group loved our stay at Bodega and the staff went above and beyond. They helped us get a ride to the airport, entertained us while we waited, and let us store our baggage after check out. If we ever make it back down to Phuket, we will return to Bodega for sure!

Clean hostel, central location, friendly staff, nice bar for socializing

Some of the friendliest staff members that I have ever encountered. The "chill lounge" was incredible and the rooms were better than hotel rooms that I have stayed at. I thought it was a great deal for my money and would recommend it to anyone staying in Phuket!

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful! They helped us arrange all of our transportation for a good price. I stayed at this hostel twice during my time in Thailand. Location is good, but somewhat difficult for cabbies to find. Beds were OK, but everything was clean, and the aircon worked great. Thanks for a great stay!

Bodega is perfect! The staff are awesome and will give you the most welcoming hello on arrival that you will find anywhere. The food is great. Coffee is really really good. Every other traveller I met at bodega was really cool and friendly. Some people are up for partying, but if you want to just hang out at the hostel the communal area/cafe downstairs is perfect. The dorms are clean and spacious and the private rooms have enourmous and comfy beds. Will be my first stop in Phuket next tim

Great spot, cool place.

Great little hostel with super friendly and helpful staff. Quiet so you can sleep, but has a little bar downstairs so plenty of opportunity to meet other people. Would recommend!

Dont think I have seen a place this clean, its amazing to stay here, Great atmosphere, Amazing staff, very friendly people, the location is amazing too. No complaints whatsoever! Definitely recommend this place for a stay!
