This was an amazing place. The rooms were wonderfully decorated and my stay could not have been nicer.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The staff was helpful and nice and the food provided was tasty. Unfortunately, the location was horrible. The street that the hotel is on seems very unsafe. My husband and I were harassed by men and propositioned by prostitutes anytime we left. There wasn't much to do in the area and we ended up having to take cabs to the center of the city, which was pretty far away. In the end, we ended up cancelling our final day and moving.

I had a wonderful time at Bodhi Tree. The room was clean, beautiful and comfy. It was so comfy that I felt staying in the room all day than walking under the hot sun.The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. The owner gave me a complimentary car ride to some places nearby which was very nice of her. Thank you and I will come back again!!

If you travelling through Kolkata and don't plan on exploring much of the city, then Bodhi Tree will give you a comfortable, aesthetically pleasant, secure and clean place to stay. Unfortunately, the location is terrible and offers little in the way of basic services. If you want to see Kolkata you should stay somewhere more central, such as the Park Street area. Also, the staff, while attempting to be helpful, doesn't know much about booking bus or train travel.

Very clean , close to metro station , good breakfast . The only suggestion I would like to make is regarding poor light inside the room . its true there are 5 side lamps around the room and 1 reading light near the desk. but its very hard to read when in bed or even packing or unpacking. everything else is excellent
