Well, it is the only place in town and isn't really all that bad. I'll start with my negatives: There are no locks on the doors and there was a pool of water on the bathroom floor (which doesn't have a drain), and smoking is allowed in the rooms. My positives: decent location, I met the owner who is a decent English fellow, and the staff was pretty helpful. There is a breakfast included but I left too early to try it.

Apart from the location there is nothing good about the hostel that makes me want to go again. I would rate the place below average in cleanliness and services.

Dont stay here! The room wasnt clean when we checked in and wasnt cleaned at all while we were there. the bathroom was revolting and they never cleaned it or emptied the bin that had all the used toilet paper in it. they only gave us clean cover sheets on the second night and they never gave us sheets to put over us. the window was broken so when it rained the window leaked over night so when i woke up all my things where in a puddle of water. when i told the staff they did nothing about it.

Good location, a bar right down below. Nice terrace. Mehmet is a great source of info for things to do in the city. Near the bus station, the castle and the beach. I would stay here again when I'm in Bodrum. Recommended! Insider tip: Bring good earplugs as there is a mosque near the hostel (no fault against the hostel owners of course!). The mosque gives out the call for prayers early in the morning and woke up the entire dorm.

An interesting place to stay for sure. I ended up having a great time staying here and meeting a ton of cool people. That is the kind of place it is, a place to meet people. Don't expect 1st class facilities or much other than a room and the opportunity to meet people, it's a hostel after all. I would definitely stay again.

Pretty average. The owner was aggresive and also very keen to sell you packages and get you to spend money. They were kinda good guy one minute then pretty rude the next. Still met some good guys here and had fun. Good area to chill out, although you can't bring your own drinks in.

The staff that worked at this hostel had no idea what room we booked for or how much we had to pay, we had to show them our booking confirmation. We slept in a double room and we couldn't lock the door because it had rusted. Couldn't shut the door on the toilet/shower because it had also rusted. Our room was clean but the toilet/shower were not cleaned while we remained there. The staff seemed to care more about the bar then they did about running a hostel.

Good location, right above a bar. Bodrum was hot enough that it was nice enough to sleep outisde on their terrace - to which they have many matressess out there for you to choose. The staff are helpful, especially on suggesting destinations as to where to go for travel and are good fun to go out drinking with in the many clubs they know :) Cheers.

Fun hostel, great for a night out in ! Cheap cocktails and super friendly staff.. Only downer was we missed breakfast as the staff were still sleeping at 9am - true to the party reputation, no big deal though

Bodrum backpackers is a basic and cheap hostel- it's convenient, and in a good location. It's particularly clean, but it's great if you want to party.

No free breakfast, the guy in charge said it is a 'present', so only whenever he decides to, there will be free breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms were a little dirty. Not sure how this hostel compares to the rest in Bodrum, but I'd find another option if I were to go there again.

Don't believe ANYTHING that has been said before. This hostel is great fun and exactly what an hostel should be like. Boring people that go to sleep at 9pm and want air conditioned rooms should just book a hotel. I had the best time ever there and almost wish I would have miss my ferry to Greece. Cool staff, good activities, sweet bar downstairs and its the best place to meet people if you're travelling alone. Go there.
