We really enjoyed our stay at Bohol Guest house and we found it was a great experience and a great way to see a less touristy side of the Philippines. The Location is very remote and the evenings are very quiet which we loved for two night but if your looking for more of a party scene and a place to meet people, it may not be for you. It is located in a very small village right next to Loboc river and the locals are so nice. W were really looked after and felt like family.
We were only here very briefly so can't say too much about the place. The staff were great with us when we arrived at a late hour and gave us free roam of the beer fridge! Now you have to give some bonus points for that! The cabins were pretty epic, although I was glad to be travelling in a group and not on my own at this point. I'd imagine they would be a bit creepy if you were by yourself! Oh, and the river that runs perpendicular is an outrageous colour first thing in the morning!
We stayed here 2 nights in the dorm room. Its in a nice location beside the river and very quiet. The dorm room was full of cobwebs and sawdust. The toilets were fine. Its a long walk into loboc town but if you hire a scooter its okay. The owners dont know about ferry times etc so find out before you go. If you want food you have to order 2 hours in advance but the food is good.
