We were welcomed to the hostel by Tony who is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tidy with a lovely en suite and a light up disco shower! It takes about 25 minutes to walk to Dubrovnik old town but the walk is safe and very scenic. The gardens of the hostel were beautiful. The only drawback was that the common room was quite noisy in the mornings - but it just made us get out of bed and enjoy beautiful Dubrovnik!
The directions said "green heaven" and that is just what it was! Enter through the gate and it is instantly silent and peaceful, just what you need when you want to retreat from the business and heat of the streets. Great room, nice and clean and with ac. Location good, but you need to walk up a hill to get to Old Town.
The owner was so helpful and made us feel really welcome. The location was perfect, even with the 20 min walk to old town as the views were amazing (there are frequent buses if you didn't want to walk). It was also 20 min walk away from the local beach which was beautiful and surrounded by rolling hills. The only downside to the guesthouse was that the air con didn't work very well so it was very very hot! Overall I would definitely stay here again!
Lovely garden and Tony, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful
