About Bolod's Guesthouse
Welcome to Bolod's Guesthouse! We are the most centrally located guest house, just opposite the Central Post Office and 1 minute walk from Sukhbaatar Square in Ulaanbaatar. In another word, we are located between the Post Office and the State Drama Theater. We are in a very safe location too. www.bolodtours.com
Bolod's Guesthouse and Tours was reccommended by Lonely Planet's 'Mongolia' guidebooks of 2001/page 139/ and 2005/pages 69 and 72/ editions and 'Trans Siberain Railway' Handbook of 2006/page 263/ too.
Our building is a 3 storey house and there is an open space in front of the building that prevents from casual traffic and visitors entering. One of the windows looks straight to this front space that gives the ideal chance to watch the world go by as you relax in the comfort of our accommodation.
We have dormitory rooms with up to 8 beds each. Kitchen, hot shower, washing machine and tourist information desk are all available, as well as a library with information on Mongolia, Siberia and Central Asia.
I'm a native Mongol who grew up in a Nomad family, so I'm familiar with Mongolian nature and Nomadic life style of living. I have been to all over Mongolia working as tourist guide for 8 years myself. I speak fluent English, Italian, Russian and French. I'm a lecturer on Mongolia, Mongols and related people and Siberia and Central Asia! It's been 8 years since I started the guesthouse and tours from here. You will find every trip is a custom tour, every trip is unique. I offer unlimited number of tour options.
