I loved this hostel! The location is great, the hostel is clean and comfortable, the staff is really helpful. I extended my stay to 10 days!

We stayed in a private double room. It was very small and consisted of a bed a chair and a locker. Once we opened both backpacks the floor disappeared. There was only 2 toilets/bathrooms on the floor we stayed on and they were occupied every time I went to use them. I would have to go up/down to different levels to use the facilities. Laundry room closes at 9pm so don't start washing at 7.50 if you want to use the dryers!

Out of the noisy city center, but only a short bus ride away. Great location between two beaches with a phenomenal view from the rooftop. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms good size. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall a great place where you'll want to stay longer!

Perfectly adequate for cheap accommodation for a weekend away. Didn't use many of the facilities, just the room and the bathroom - these were fine.

First it looked nice-from outside. In the hostel it is dirty.Especially the showers. There are not enough showers and toilets. The biggest problem is the kitchen - it is terrible -oil on the floor - nobody is cleaning the pots. Other people steal food. Laundry was broken - both of them, maybe since a longer time. Staff is not very friendly - they do not look at you when you check-in. A lot of long term stayers, almost just french people which are drinking a lot. one night the police was coming.

Wonderful hostel but not a young party hostel as what you would might hope for when you are a backpacker. The staff was a little bit too serious for my taste. I was expecting a youth hostel. And there website said parking. But there was none. If I was lucky I could find a unlimited spot near by, but i ended up parking very far away from the hostel my entire stay. That was a little annoying.

I stayed in bondi beachouse yha last week and i thought the staff were lovely very helpful the room was a nice size and get given some free towels which came in handy for my stay as I forgot to pack mine! The bathrooms were the only let down to this hostel who has showers and a toilet in one room in a hostel?! They were disgusting everyday I was there the smell from them put you off and wore shoes in the shower apart from that there was always hot water and a good powerful shower!

This place was filthy!! As soon as you walked into the room it was smelly! It looked like it hadnt been hoovered for months! The bunk beds didnt have bars on either side so were really dangerous- they would not get through health and safety in England! I went to buy an internet usage card from the reception and the man who was on reception was too busy rolling his cigarette than serving me. He was extreamly rude! Staff need training on customer service skills.

This place was full of 19 hear old European guys who turned into surfer dudes and are there to party for 6 months. Of course that might have been bad timing. But even so, considering the high price it was an average hostel and the staff wasnt particularly friendly either (I dont blame them personally if they have to deal with this clientele every day). The name beachhouse is missleading. You have to walk 15 minutes. Not my thing but if you fit the above profile it might be the place for you.

On the page where we made our booking, it said that there was free WI-FI. There wasn´t ! Bathrooms are not enough. Only two toilets with bath on each floor! not enough. really long wait time, just to get to the toilet! and they were incredibly dirty, all the time + dead cockroaches. Our food was taken out of the refrigerator, and left on the kitchen table, where we found it the next morning, useless. No form of ventilation in the rooms, made it really hot. I could go on..

Clean, but not especially special. Not exactly the vibe I prefer. At the time I was there, fellow travelers were a bit guarded. Bondi beach gets old quick, so plan on only staying a night or two max.
