I thought the snorkel walk was really nice! One of the YHA staff members took us on a free walk & snorkeling tour around the area; I enjoyed that very much! The deck on the roof is great too! The toilets weren't always very clean nor was the kitchen; but it didn't affect me too much. I had a good time!

Rooms are not hostel rooms. They are just empty rooms in which have been dropped some beds. Take as an example hostels in Europe. They are much better. In this hostel there are plugs only in ONE corner of the room!

Place was grotty and descusting, not on Bondi beach but more like a 15 minute walk, Internet was terrible and only in one place, no cutlery unless rented, some staff ok but some really unhelpful and unfreindly.

Very good location but facilities could be looked after way better. Especially kitchen was horrible to use during our stay.

We had a great stay, we stayed in a 4 person dorm. good location just outside bondi beach (technically tamarama) nice walk to beach.

Basic, decent hostel. Free wifi in the dining room only. Many of the people who live here are longterm workers and lots of families - babies/kids at a hostel - so not much for partying. Its a bit of a walk from Bondi beach but very doable. Staff should offer directions upon checkin!

booked and dint have a bed available for me!!!!! staff absolutely incompetent internet doesn't work at all dirty room and kitchen KITCHEN CLOSES AT 8PM that's a f.....g joke receptionist doesn't speak 1 work of English dangerous area, noise 24 hours, not able to slepp no blanket no sheet mattress is full of marks CHOICE A DIFFERENT HOSTEL

Not sure why this hostel gets such good reviews to be honest. Clicky atmosphere, abrupt staff and very noisy. We were kept awake until 5am on a Sunday morning by disrespectful guests banging on the room doors and the live-in staff seemed to do nothing about it. The best thing about the hostel is the views from the balcony, but nobody seems to hang around there. Expected better from a YHA and glad I moved to an alternative in Bondi.

Good beach hostel. The showers were kind of far away. Hard to keep things clean and dry, but that's to be expected by the beach.

Good location by the beach and the coastal walk. Lockers, breakfast, and pretty clean. Kitchen common area isn't great for meeting people though and you'll have to walk a ways to get to the grocery stores. Still a pretty cushy stay overall!

Very nice place to stay. Short walk to the beach and the hostel itself is pretty nice. Good value and I would come back if I'm in bondi!

Very social hostel! Staying for only two nights in a hostel usually means that you dont really make such good friends, but this one was different! Very friendly and openmimned people. Really appreciated this!
