There was a weird smell in the room from the vents, but otherwise it was great. The other people there were nice, it was clean, close to everything and the price was a good deal. There was even a place to store your food in the kitchen and lots of books.

I tend to have bad luck when trying hostels/hotels in Osaka, and twice I have left other places and gone running back to Bonsai. Decent room, comfortable bed, kind staff and right next to the station. The fact that they are so close makes it a great location, but I am in the habit of waking up when they turn on the incoming train chimes thinking it's a phone going off. Still, I keep going back for their plentiful bathrooms and showers, comfortable beds/pillows, and great ac/heater.

Very nice hostel, the staff is extremely helpful, couldn't thank enough for them. nice bed as well, just had a little bit concerns of the showering place since the temperature of the water was not quite stable.anyway, a really good hostel that i think i'd defenitely get back if i revisit osaka.

Great hostel. The prices were a bit high. Because the dorm rooms were full I had to rent a double room but couldn't rent just one bed, forcing me to pay as two people. If they sold the bed rather than the room, treating the double as a small dorm, two guests could have slept there and only paid for a single bed.

The location was great and it is well connected to all the sightseeing’s in Osaka through the JP Loop Line. The Hostel was 3 minutes walking and located in a good neighbourhood with all facilities like supermarket and cheap restaurants. My only negative comment was the room smells a bit.

This hostel was amazingly clean. The blanket/comforter was really fluffy and soft as well as the mattress. I liked the host and everything about it. TIP: If you plan on travelling at all in Japan and you're from another country, be sure to buy a JR Rail pass in your home country before you go (you cannot buy one there).

The hostel is very clean and in a nice quiet location. The facility is a bit small and in a residential neighborhood so you can't be very loud in the evenings. It's nice if your looking to stay off the radar but doesn't lend itself to helping you meet other travelers.

Small hostel with awesome staff. They are very kind and able to speak English. The staff very help full to gave me recommendation place to visit in Osaka and also he help me to find the cheapest way to Nara. Not a lot of people hanging out in common rooms so if you looking for calm place to stay this is gonna be a perfect choice.

Seemed like a really fun place. Common room was very active. Unfortunately I was exhausted this day and passed out early. Showers, and such were nice and clean. No issues with the accommodation. Location was very conveniently located next to the station making it easy to get around.

More information - such a maps, things to do etc would be good as some staff are hard to communicate with if you can't speak Japanese. Otherwise, the stay was great. Nice social area, free internet/wifi. Staff are very nice.

Literally 100 steps away from the Momodani train station, the location is beyond excellent. There is a shopping street nearby which is handy should the need arise. Bonsai garden on the roof is definitely something to check out.

Small little guest house had about 2 floors with most rooms on the bottom floor and the reception and common room on the top floor. Located very close to Momodani station along the JR Osaka loop line. About a 10 minute train ride to Namba and Umeda. Stayed in a 6 bed mix dorm and a private for a night. The dorm room was kinda small and cramped which is very typical in Japan. Curtains were provided to on the beds so it added some privacy. The staff there were amazing and were very helpful.

i was satisfied with nice staff, clean bed, and quiet condition of this guesthouse. it takes only 30 seconds to get to there by walk from Momodani stn.(JR line) , and quite close to Sitenno-ji and Sinsekai section. the bad things are....there`s only 3 shower rooms and it is so narrow. and if u use the room on 3rd floor, it is near living room and kitchen so it can be little noisy at night.

Cool, comfortable little hostel in Osaka. The only drawback was the staff's knowledge of local places to eat. After arriving (and very hungry), we were told we could either walk 15 minutes to Koreatown, or take the train to Namba. Of course, there are always good little hole-in-the-wall places anywhere you go in Japan, so it would have been nice to hear some recommendations beyond the usual tourist spots. Otherwise, the hostel was really great and the staff were very friendly.
