Great hostel and excellent value. Would stay again for sure. The staff is helpful and friendly and make guests feel at home. Note that there aren't heaters in the rooms if staying during the winter. But the one in the common room is great to sit around and drink tea or coffe, which the staff is always ready to supply. The breakfast is one of the best of any hostel I've ever stayed at. No lockers in the rooms.

The hostel is an excellent location, right across the road from the bus station. Staff are very friendly and a good sized Turkish breakfast is included. The upstairs common area has a cool vibe and free wifi. Our room was nice and modern, only downfall was the door on to the balcony didn't lock properly but we felt safe.

I really apprecıate the kındness shown by thıs hostels staff. I arrived ın Selcuk after a 20 hour busride. I had contracted food poısonnıng ın Sanliurfa. The staff was kind and dıd not demand an ımmediate payment. They allowed me to just fall ınto my bed and sleep the sickness off. The next day İ felt much better and was rewarded wıth an awesome and wholesome breakfast. The hostel is about 20 - 30 minutes walk from Ephesus and a 5 mınute walk from the Basılıca of St John. I enjoyed my stay

We were pleasantly surprised that someone waited for us at the bus station upon arrival to take us to the hostel which is just across the road. That friendly 1st impression lasted throughout the whole stay there. Amazing hostel, very clean and helpful staff.

The only thing here is that breakfast is included, but limited. They buy the food fresh the day before, but only buy enough for one day. So get up earlier than others to make sure you get your fill. Once the food is gone, it's gone.

The place was great, they even met me at the bus station to bring me to the hostel. The owner turned out to be really nice and gave me a lift on his scooter to the Ephesus ruins since I was traveling alone. The have a nice enclosed rooftop area for hanging out and the guys that work there are really friendly. It was a bit cold in the winter, but there are plenty of blankets on the bed and he started the stove/fireplace upstairs when I was cold. And they have the most fantastic cat!

the rooms were very beautiful and very clean. the location is great, and the staff is very willing to help out. at certain times of the day they were a little hard to find, but sometimes they are working at the restaurant next door. the location is excellent. across from the bus station, 3km from Ephesis, down the street from st. john's basilica. we walked to everything. make sure to bring warm clothing, most of the hotels/ hostels in the area are not heated in the winter.

what fantastic service!! our bus arrived 2 hours early, dropping us off at 5am instead of 7 so when we showed up, they gave us 3 beds free of charge for us to have a nap in until breakfast, then served us a fantastic breakfast (literally served - they brought us each our own breakfast platter to our table) and just made us feel so welcome. also, the shower is really fantastic! great pressure, lots of hot water. please, STAY AT BOOMERANG GUESTHOUSE!

There were many good things about Boomerang but first I have to mention the shower. It was the best shower I've had in a month! It was amazing - a proper shower! Lots of heat, great pressure, an enclosure! I loved it! I probably stayed in too long as a result but it felt like such a luxury! It was very clean as well. The dorm wasn't bunks and the staff here are super friendly and incredibly helpful. They couldn't make you feel more welcome, while also leaving you to your own devices. Perfect!

1) The owner of the guesthouse welcomed us with open arms but when we told him we had to change our stay to 1 night, his changed his vibe completely, and gave us a guilt trip about not being able to rent out the 2nd night now that it showed unavailability on Hostelworld. He pretty much expected us to pay the 2nd night said it was on the Terms. When we paid at checkout, he was happy again bc he had a walk-in guest for the room. 2) Bad plumbing- toilet smelled horrific. No top sheet in the room.

Decent place to stay. Our room was modern and clean. Great location. However, often nobody was manning the front door, so anyone was free to enter the hostel. Not good security. Also, one of the co-owners was aggressive in trying to sell us tours booked through him. We booked a tour through someone else and he was upset that we did so.

They were really helpful, they met me at the bus station, walked to me the phone shop when I wanted to buy a Turkish sim and walked me again to the post office when I wanted to send a parcel home - also they were very friendly. The hostel is centrally located, the outdoor garden area is nice and most beds in the dorm are not bunk beds. Thanks guys.

The food and rooms were great, recommended. The fact that we didn't get hot water one morning does not detract from the rating in our minds.

Great location from the bus station. Selcuk is a nice, quaint city. There is a great kebab/restaurant place just beside the hostel (can't remember the exact name, but I think it's something like "Amit and Mohammed's Kebab"). Tom was very friendly and helpful.
