Best hostel I stayed in my life.

The staff is amazing! Very funny and kind

I was a little nervous about stopping through Antwerp, but once I got to the hostel I felt more comfortable. Boomerang has a welcoming front room with board games and music. The staff was perfectly nice. It seemed like they were really trying to keep everyone happy and the place clean. It'd be nice to have outlets by all the beds, but that's really a first world problem. I was lucky enough to come on the eve of National Belgian Day, so there was an event downtown. Made some good friends!

Very nice atmosphere. However the bathrooms are awful - 3 dormm rooms sharing 3 showers and 2 toilets. There definitely needs to be a seperate shower area for girls.

I would recommend this place only to those who absolutely strive for the cheapest price or (in my case) if everything else was booked out. The hostel feels old and not well-kept, sometimes dirty (I've noticed occasional layers of dust in the room, also water in the showers did not drain properly). Lots of other small irritating things like the lack of sockets, internet in the rooms was a pain, etc, etc. Also, in my experience, really loud audience.

Amazingly kind and friendly staff. It felt more like coming home than going to a hostel.

we loved this place, my only complaint is the light in the common room sucks for reading/writing so you have to commandeer a lamp or you're in the dark

Good cheap hostel. Beds are comfortable and they have a kitchen which is great. The staff is nice. The only negative thing about the hostel is that they allow people to smoke in the lobby right next to the common room so your clothes smell and the whole hostel smells which is kind of gross.

Only needs plugs I'm the rooms and better showers, other than that really nice place!

certainly worth the money

Great hostel, could have a more.establishestablished bed claiming system

nice hostel

What is the point of a service desk if the clerk is sitting in front of it? It just screams "my father made too many rules as a kid, here, you deal with the complex!" Nowhere to stick your items if you are using anything the size of a carry-on suitcase, except a dank room located on the first floor which, if you ask the staff to retrieve your belongings they will drag their heels and hurry you to collect it. Awkward shower space with a single hook, presumably to hang yourself with. Garbage!

The manager of the hostel is professional and hospitable. Facilities were adequate and the atmosphere is cosy and yet vibrant.

Good vibe, great staff, very welcome and trustfull. Lockers are there but should be better taken care of (locks instead of Keys would be safer and easier). Clean rooms, perfect beds and good showers. For 12 euro it can't be better!!

Very good price for a such a nice hostel! Atmosphere in the place is amazingly cozy and homelike, the staff is chill, easy to approach and very friendly. All needed facilities can be found, showers good, toilets good, the beds are really good to sleep and sheets are clean. Open 24 hours so it's nice that you don't have to think when you have to come back to the hostel. Only cons were that the dorm was really hot in +35 degree weather cause there was no air-co and floors weren't the cleanest.

Would definitely return to stay here! The atmosphere was warm, very welcoming. An ideal place to stay within walking distance from main attractions or a quick hop onto the tram which runs outside the front. The toilet and showers on my floor could have used a little maintainence but everything was in working order and the staff were very helpful with anything you needed. The room space was small, beds pretty packed in but that was no issue. Great value, great stay.

I was very disappointed by the lack of friendly service I received on arrival. When I asked for some help in understanding the bus route in Flemish the staff member passed me a useless metro map and continued with chatting on FB. This as well as experiencing internet connection difficulties and asking for connection assistance which was not given made for a very disappointing impression.

maybe some more private lockers.

Really nice hostel! Definitely hard to find if you use hostelworld instructions though. Easy walk to main squares. Rooms really nice, very clean, showers not great. Staff were really lovely!
