Well this hostel doesn't exist anymore!! We had room booked one month before and when we came there the eoman was very surprised and told us that from december they decided to open a house for homeless people. She wasnt confused and sorry, she just started calling another people and found us a place to sleep in some strange house! The worst thing was that they knew about this and didn't even bother to send an email.. My advise for hostelworld is simply to remove them from this site!

So I arrive, it's this apartment building and inside it smells like smoke, the guy there says he'll call another lady who'll check me in. They give me a key, tell me to walk 3 blocks somewhere, to another apartment building, where I get some dirty, sketchy room, because the actual "hostel" building now hosts homeless people. So, I did not stay in an actual hostel, I did not stay in the building that was advertised, none of the facilities they list (lockers, reception,etc...) were there. Awful.

A snafu arose because the primary hostel location was beginning a two-weeks projected renovation, so guests were being diverted - only after arriving at its permanent address- to a temporary building some 10 minutes walk away. By sheer luck I arrived just in time to meet other guests heading to the new address, and they helped me find it and carry my baggage there. Would have been good for your website/e-mail to have alerted us to this situation- not sure if there'd been time for that.

At my arrival I was told the hostel was closed for renovations (why then can I book there?:S), which meant I was transferred to a hostel further away from the city centre, where I had to share a 2bed room with someone I did not know :( No apologies whatsoever, only a very slow process of checking us in: I could only pay if I have the precise amount of cash and there was only one room key, which caused my roommate to be stuck in the hostel all night. This was really annoying! :(

Excellent breakfast for cheap price, gooed coffee, friendly staff. Bunkbeds were not brilliant, pretty shaky. Woke up everytime the guy beneath me turned.

Had a cool laid-back feel to it. Would have preferred to have lockers in the room. Showers on the third floor had a terrible smell the whole time :|. Other than that I had a great time in Antwerp, great location, really nice staff, great price. I would come back for a night.

The quality you get is according to the price you pay, so don't expect the cleanest showers and toilets, elevator, extreme cleaness in the room, a very comfortable bed or much silence at night. The atmosphere is nice and there are a lot of young people :) Worst thing is that they don't have any lockers, altough there is the possibility to store your lugagge in a locked room that can only be opened by the hostel's staff.

I'd say I saw better hostels. But the conditions of the beds were not that good at all. Also you need to pay for clean sheets and breakfast. Breakfast was fine though.

No locks or keys, had to pay for sheets, and the bathrooms were less than clean. While breakfast was alright, you had to pay for it as well and to top it off it was sooooo far away from the sights. The staff seemed to be nice, but also somewhat odd and instead of sitting around smoking all the time could have tidied up a bit.

We stayed here for one night, the woman running the hostel is very nice. We booked a female-only room but there were 3 guys also sleeping there but overall it was pretty nice.

Great Hostel, the owners were really down to earth, chilled, friendly people. The dorm we stayed in as perfect and clean. Location wise its a 15min walk into town, or catch tram 8. Overall great place for 3 guys having a weekend on the sauce.

The manager runs the hostel in a familiar way that will make you (almost) feel at home.

This hostel is cheap and reasonable. Staff is kind off strange but willing to help. I quite liked my stay, but don´t go there unless you smoke: the place stinks to cigarettes and ??? (don´t know.) The dorms are pretty standard. Not a good place if you want to cook your own food. Also, shower early (or very late) for a hot shower! I´d recommend it if you´re looking for a cheap place to stay and don´t mind the lack of cleanliness.
