this hostel if i compare price and value not bad. this is old 3floor of social house. Every floor have 4showers 2 wc for about 3-4room about more than 20 people, not advantage .Overall, not very concerned about purity. Security you can drop you stuff in locker room i think so offer. i can offer a breakfast excellent because only pay extra 2.5euros and get fresh bread, roll, salami, cheese, cutted meat, and ordinary hostel breakfast menu.

The low price is a big plus. They don't have security lockers. That's the most important disadvantage of this hostel.

Quite a nice hostel, 20 minute walk from the city centre and train station. The showers and toilets were very dirty though.

Maybe the problem of the hostel is that the kitchen is small, and is not just in the center (but is a small city already, so it doesn`t matter.

Friendly helpful staff. Location was 20 mins walk from the Antwerpen central station. Showers were cold at peak times, but you could just walk up one floor or shower at odd times. Good atmosphere too.

The staff here were really lovely and went out of their way to help us out. The rooms/beds were clean(However squeaky...), the bathroom/shower facilities were not too bad and the general vibe of the hostel was really relaxed. Absolutely perfect for one or two nights stay. Especially good value for money too(13E) . I didnt have breakfast, but it looked pretty good for 2,50euro. We quite enjoyed our stay.

The property is quite decent for this price. But you have to pay extra for linen and breakfast what makes the price quite average in comparison to other hostels. There are no lockers in the room ( there is one common luggage storage though) and the doors are not locked so it's not really safe to leave your things in the room. It's easy to access the hostel from the street, too.

Don't come here if you want to sleep, because the mattresses are terrible, and it's not very clean! However, it's a perfect place to party and meet people because everyone hangs out in the lounge for the WIFI and drinks. I met some really cool people here and had a great time. breakfast is cheap and delicious, and on the plus side check out is not until 12 noon as opposed to other places so you can sleep in longer.

The staff were awesome, even if they smoke like chimneys. They never smoke during breakfast, though! The beds are comfy, but REALLY squeaky!! The place could really use some lockers, even if they are pay or bring own lock. As it is, there is a room that only the staff has keys to where everyone just throws their valuables on shelves. Easy entry most time, with no real check on who comes and goes. High convenience, low security. Free wifi!! Definitely worth the price. Not great, but solid.

I liked the atmosphere of the building. The other travelers were not that interesting though. Also the beds were a little annoying for your back

Lack of security, everyone can get into the rooms without being seen by anyone in the hostel; Really dirty, also broken sofas...

Needs lots of improvements. The sulphur smell at the front door and the cigarette smell throughout the house. There is no common area that doesn't smell like an ashtray. Not enough bath shower facilities for the number of people. And the entryway to the kitchen is a 10 inch space you zig zag through. If you are carrying anything, say groceries, you are out of luck. Poorly organised and poorly maintained. But cheap. If you don't mind grime and need a cheap place, then go ahead. Location was not

Hard to find (the name is graffitied on a doorway), smells bad (sewage was broken), there are no locks on the rooms - bed/sheets/mattress was not washed and covered in hair of previous visitor. Staff friendly but have an understandably defeated apologetic manner. Payment has to be made in cash - showers are either boiling or cold and are dirty - taps in bathroom are broken. Essentially - avoid.

Boomarang is a great place to meet new people and have a great time, the staff are friendly and are always willing to help when you need it. The rooms are basic but the common area is always brimming with life and people to meet. everyone is friendly with each other and the reason everyone is there is to meet new people and have fun. A great hostel.
